Chapter 20

Coles POV

Its been one week since the incident and everything has been going well since then.
I'm waiting for Lily outside her department building. Today was the day I'll officially ask her to be my girlfriend. For the past one week we've been doing things couples do but I want to make it official.

I was resting on my car when Lily walked out of her department building. She was wearing high waisted jeans and a crop top, her hair tied into a ponytail. She looked flawless.

Immediately she spotted me, she smiled at me and I swear my heart stopped. I was head over heels for her already and I didn't mind at all.

I lifted myself off the car and strode towards her, she was right in front of me now and I pulled her in for a long hug.

"Someone is happy to see me. " she said and I chuckled.

"I'm always happy to see you amour. " I said, kissing her swiftly on the cheek.

"I see. " she said and I kissed her lips this time. I broke the kiss and licked my lips. "Delicious. " I said and she rolled her eyes.

She started walking towards her side of the car and I followed her, opening the passenger door for her. She got in and I closed the door, quickly jogging over to my side of the car and closing the door as well.

I turned on the car and drove off to her place. I could tell she was tired because of how she rested her head on the window and closed her eyes. I couldn't help but stare at her, she was very beautiful.

I parked the car in front of her house and turned off the car. I turned to face her and nudged her with my elbow. Her eyes shot open. "Are we there already? " she asked.

"Yes amour. "

She smiled at me and opened the door, getting out and I did the same. I walked her to her porch. "Are you going to come inside? " she asked.

"No. " I said, "I'll come back to pick you up later " I said to her and she raised one of her eyebrows. "It's a surprise. " I said and pulled her in for a hug. I pulled away and inched my face closer to hers, brushing my lips against hers. I kissed her for I don't know how long and she kissed me back.

I pulled away and kissed her forehead. "See you later amour. " I walked away and got into the car, she waved at me and I waved back.

I love you, I wanted to say but I wanted to save it for later.
I wanted nothing more than to go back there and kiss her but I fought against it.

I couldn't wait for tonight.

Lily's POV

I went into the house smiling like a Cheshire cat. "Someone is very happy." Tasha said smiling at me.

"Oh shut up. " I said kicking off my shoes and sitting on the couch.

"You finally admit that you have feelings for him? "

"What do you think? "

She sat beside me. "That you finally realize you love him and I'm happy you do because all I've wanted is for you to be happy. " she said. I couldn't help but smile.

"Thank You. " I said, hugging her.

"No shit. " she said and hugged me back.

There was one thing I knew about Tasha, she puts up this wall for everyone but she's actually soft hearted. I knew something was bothering her but I didn't want to force her to tell me the things she's not ready too yet.
