"I love you." he told her, looking into her watery eyes.
"I really wish I could believe you." she whispered back to him, looking away as tears started to stream down her face.
"Don't leave me." he begged, grabbing her have before she could step away.
"I'm falling. But You'll break me." her voice was vulnerable and lost now.
"I'll protect you. I'll catch you." he pulled her hand up to his face now, placing his soft lips against her trembling hands.
"You promise?" she whispered, refusing to make eye contact with the hopeful boy that stood before her. The only boy that has the power to break her.
