After walking for 45 minutes into the woods the couple finally arrived at the beautiful river. The river shone in the sun, enhancing its enchanting beauty.
"Do you trust me?" The boyfriend asked.
"I don't know..." The girlfriend whispered as she replayed the memory or earlier.
"I love you." He whispered. "Take my hand and trust me."
The girlfriend took her boyfriends hand, gazing into his eyes slowly the boyfriend took a step back into the first stepping stone. The girlfriend held her breath.
"Don't look down." The boyfriend said to his girlfriend as he took another step back.
The girlfriend now took a step into the first stepping stone, refusing to allow herself to look down.
The couple made their way across each stepping stone, lost in each others eyes. Neither of them looking down.
Once the girlfriend took her final step onto the last stepping stone she smiled at her boyfriend. They made it. Trust got them through it.
"I love you." The boyfriend said as he pulled his girlfriend into his arms.
"I love you too." The girlfriend replied as she relaxed into her boyfriends arms.
