Nature is beautiful isn't it? There are animals, trees, rivers, seas and much more the list could go on forever. But the most beautiful thing about nature isn't even the beauty. No. You may disagree but nature is most beautiful with its imperfections.
Water looks strikingly beautiful in the sunlight. Water has the power to wash your fears away. Water can make you feel safe. However water can also be dangerous. In a storm waters striking beauty changes into a dangerous dance. A fight. Our brains are programmed with a fight or flight mode. But how can we fight water? How can we fight any form of nature?
If a tree falls on us we can't catch it or just move out the way. No it crushes us. Destroys us.
If an animal decides to fight us, how can we fight back? We don't have claws, wings, beaks, sharp teeth, poison or the infante number of other things. No humans have had to create their own weapons. Knives and guns. But humans don't always carry these weapons. Nor do we always know how to use these weapons.

What humans don't seem to understand is we can't fight nature. We can't fight against the world. So instead we decide to fight each other. We fight in wars, in playgrounds, in families, verbally or physically. We can't fight nature. We can't fight the world. We can't fight life. So what do we do as humans? We fight each other. But how does that help anyone? How does having a war resolve a conflict? How does degrading each other help anyone? Now my theory is the reason we fight each other is because we know we're weak. We know there is nothing we can do to prevent things happening and that scares us.
We're scared of what we don't understand. We're scared of things we can't see. We're scared of things we can't defend ourselves against. We're scared of dying.
Why are we scared of dying? Because that's permanent. Once we've died that's it. We're gone. The only three things we know will happen is we'll be born, we'll live and we'll die. What we do during our life, before we die. We can never be sure of what's going to happen or how it's going to end.
Humans aren't scared of death. We're scared of the permanent fact of death. We're scared of having something so permanent happen to us. In life nothing is completely permanent. Nothing except the fact that we're breathing. Until one day we stop.

That is called nature. But the real nature. Isn't us. Isn't life. Isn't anything outside. Real nature is accepting imperfections. Accepting our fears. Accepting ourselves and others for who we all are.
