Chapter 8:what is that?

After coming back from work Y/N was passing by the nearest cafe from her house. She was planning out how will she take care of that person in her house. She will have to work extra hours or find another job to give rent and feed both of them. She was looking around when her eyes landed on a notice posted on the cafe door.
Saying:" workers needed! If anyone interested plz let us know."

It clicked Y/Ns mind........ What if she sends that person here to work this way she won't have to worry what he is up to at home when she is not around.

She came back home happy and she opened the door and found that person sitting on the floor curiously watching the Tv.

When he saw Y/N he flashed her a big toothy smile which Y/N did not return back (well that's rude 😬😶😐 how can someone just ignore him like that)

Time passes at the dinner table

"Hey, you what's your name again?"

"Name? I don't have one I guess."

"Oh ok listen? Tomorrow we will go to the cafe and you will start working there..... If they keep you. "

"Cafe?? What's that? "

"Well nevermind you'll see when you will get there."

He nodded

After washing the dishes Y/N sat on the couch and started playing with her phone. While the tall person just observed her.

"What is that?"

"Hmm?"

"That (while pointing out) the thing in your hand"

"Oh this, it's a phone"

"What do we do with it?"

"Talk to people or communicate with people it has other purposes as well but this the main purpose."

As they both were on their way to the cafe Y/N had to hold his shirt sleeve because he kept looking around and would stop walking. When they reach the cafe the person besides Y/N looked excited anxious and a little nervous. Well yeah, it was his first time coming out of the house after he came into this world. He was amazed by the building and nature. After entering the cafe they did not find anyone there at that time.

"Hello is anyone here? We actually read the notice outside about the workers."

After Y/N spoke the word worker an old woman came out quickly to see who it was.

"Oh so are you both here to work here? " asked the old woman with a big smile on her face.

"Well not both of us... He will be working here."

"Oh I see, should we start off with the interview?"

"Hello, there ( the old lady waved to the boy who came with Y/N ) So what your name and how old are you?"

"My name? I don't hav-"

He was stopped by Y/N as she started to speak

"His name... His name is Chan~ yeah. His name is Chanyeol and he is 20 years old."

"Oh, nice name boy." The old woman said while the chanyeol boy the one Y/N just named looked at her confusedly.

" The working hours are long I hope you won't mind that."

"Yeah, it's okay." Answered Y/N

"Girl let him answer why do you keep answering." Joked the old sweet lady

"Ahh sorry, he is very shy so that's why I was answering."

"Oh ok Soo from tomorrow onwards you will have to come to work okay? And plz be on time."

"Okay thank you so much, don't worry he will be here on time will he be the only one working here?"

"No, he won't be alone don't worry I will be here and there is another boy who works here he was sick today so could not come."

"Oh, I see okay bye see you tomorrow."

"Bye" the old lady waved
