Chapters16: Magic

"Calm down y/n and listen to me carefully." Said Kai while making y/n sit next to Chanyeol.

"I know you are confused and might get more confused after I tell you what's going on, but the most important thing is you need to be extra careful with him and make sure you stay with him all the time." Told Kai while pointing at Chanyeol.

Y/n got more scared after those words came out of kai's mouth. What was going to happen to Yeol?                                        Kai speaks again" do you remember those glass beads and the wooden boy box?"

Y/n nodded

"Umm, how do I explain this to you but  Chanyeol is that wooden boy, he was sent to make you happy and make your life more enjoyable. This is all magic, we work under our head and we try to make people happy and fulfil their wishes. Our head was the one who made the wooden boy in this form, he is an old man and is on his death bed. Whenever his condition gets worse it affects things like Chanyeol. I am sorry to tell you this but if he dies Chanyeol will be gone forever. This is also what that card meant, it was a warning."

Y/N was speechless, she always thought there was no such thing as magic, but little did she know. She didn't want to lose chanyeol. He had become a part of y/N life and happiness, he meant a lot to her.

"There... Mus..t be... Some...thing. We...........could.....d Doo....I...don't...want....to...lose...him...
Please...kai..." Asked y/n while crying.

"I am sorry y/n, we could find out a solution for this but right now we don't have one. I am sorry."

"Kai we should go now," Said the owl eyes boy.

"Yeah Kyungsoo Hyung you are right  let's go."

"Y/n we are leaving now, we will come to check him again by then take care of him well." After saying this they vanished away.

Y/n was hurt after she was told that Chanyeol will be gone forever and she will be alone again. This made her realize how important he was for her.

Time passes

The next morning Chanyeol woke up early and found y/n laying near him on the sofa. He smiled and covered her with a blanket. Even though Chanyeol did not meet kai but he had seen him when kai brought him to y/n in the wooden form. And he was aware that he will have to leave y/n sooner or later. He wanted to spend time with her as much he could.

He was just starting at her

When y/n woke up and saw him sitting. She was happy to see him fine. So she squished his cheeks. He did not like it though but he let it be.

Y/n had started to be more polite and would let him do whatever he wanted to do. Even if Chanyeol got a paper cut she would get worried. Days passed and Chanyeol was fine, but there came a day when his condition worsened.
