"Because you're still a coward." You wanted to land the blow softer, but it didn't matter. You knew one way or another it had to be said. The stress that spike in his voice when he spoke was more than enough evidence for you. Evidence that Hoseok was giving in to the weak control that Jung has lingering around him. "You still fear your father, don't you? Even before all of this even right now, are your hands shaking?"

Taking a pause, you want to let the genuine care and concern of your voice be the cushion of anything else you could say with accidentally edge. "I think I understand why you like to stay in the background to help. You're scared of doing something, worried that you trying to help us will get us hurt or worse in return. Hoseok, ever since that car accident, whether you knew it or not you've been letting your father win. He has his rotting claws holding you in a chokehold, and the longer you let them sink in, you'll never be able to truly fight back." Staring down at the body of the man you just killed without hesitation, you looked to the hallway he must've came through. "Hoseok, you're not like your father. Protecting and fighting for those around you, doesn't turn you into him."

"I still can't. I don't know how to explain it, [Y/n]." The lack of confidence in his tone was evident enough that it wasn't going to work with your half hatched plan. Not that you care more about a plan going smoothly, but you needed to do this for Hoseok above all us.

"I realized something just now too, we both went through something that forced us to fight on way or another, but I picked up a gun and you picked up hacking." A fond smile found it's way onto your lips, as the image of a young Hoseok trying to attempt his first hack bounce into your thoughts. Of course he'd never go for a gun, you assured yourself as the only one in the group to have that type of natural born bloodlust. After staring down the hallway for a bit, a small correlation popped into your mind as you headed down that direction. "Hey Hoseok, your father really annoys the shit out of me. So I'll kill him, think of it like one last Ace job from me to you. I'll do the bloody work for you involving your father. But in return, when I kill him, I need you to take back what's yours. If you don't take control, then getting out of here is going to be a suicide mission for us. You understand what I mean right?"

Before getting an answer you suddenly dove for cover in a doorway as two men unloaded gun fire onto you. Dropping the walkie, you cussed under your breath as you could vaguely hear Hoseok response. While taking a crouched positioned against the wall, you rested weight onto your left knee to cautiously peeked around the corner of the doorway.

Hearing the muffle concern yelling's of Hoseok, you knew better than to even attempt reaching out for the communication device. As if on cue, in another spray of bullets, the walkie gets shot to bits. Which causes you to throw up an arm in reaction to protect from any broken pieces flying your way, causing you to be annoyed at the mild inconvenience this created. Counting down how many bullets you needed to fight between how many you could waste, you just hoped in the back of your mind that Hoseok would understand you. That even with only a few words of encouragement, it was enough for him to follow the plan you began to set up.

Let's worry about ourselves for the time being, you thought to yourself, putting blind but good faith in Hoseok to meet you halfway on what you were getting at for him to do. There's only two doofuses and one you with six decent bullets left. You crushed yourself further back into the doorway, clearing your head and focusing on the surrounding sounds since sight was currently the disadvantage. Taking a deep inhale through your nose, you withstood another onslaught of bullets flying at you. Grateful that these idiots remained at a distance and bad angle, as well as how sturdy a doorframe could be in shielding. A few bullet came closer than you're comfortable with as your ears withstood the painful sounds of bullets flying and crashing around you.
