Hoseok: hypothermia

It was a normal winters day. It was a bit after Christmas and just before Taehyung's birthday. With this, it meant that the band were able to go out freely without their tight schedule. They could pretty much be regular people.

With December being the award season, all of the band felt restricted into practice and were waiting for this moment from the beginning of September. Sure it was nice to receive awards and perform. But, sometimes they wanted a break.

Seoul's winter days brought down thick heavy snow making the temperature drop way into the negative numbers. They should have been okay if they put on the right clothing, making sure that they were warm and protected.

All of the band woke at around 8 am so that they could make a full day out of it, all they had to do was eat breakfast and they would be good to go. Everyone was excited. Why wouldn't they be? Everything was going to be perfect. Right?

Today was different, not much different, but different. In reality, the difference shouldn't have made an impact on the bands day of fun. However, it did. The difference was Hoseok.

On a regular basis, in the morning Hoseok was bright and was full of energy. This morning was the opposite. He was tired and just wanted to go back to sleep. However, he didn't want to miss out on all the fun that they were going to have by being sleepy. So, Hoseok decided that he was just going to have some coffee to prepare him for the day.

"You okay Hyung?" Taehyung asked as Hoseok was in a world of his own at the table. At first, Hoseok didn't realise that Taehyung was talking to him. It was only until he nudged Hoseok that he acknowledged him.

"Huh? Oh yeah, I'm fine. I'm just tired. Don't worry though, I'll be fine in a bit." He said in reply not wanting there plans to be cancelled. He knew his band well. If one of them weren't feeling it they would cancel their plans even if it made them annoyed. Hoseok wanted to make the most of the day despite him being tired.

Taehyung didn't believe him at first, but as he wasn't changing his answer he just settled with Hoseok's answer and carried on eating his cereal.

After around an hour, they where all ready to leave the house. They were ready to set out into the cold winter to mess around in the snow. Even though they were all in there 20s, they all had the mindset of a child. It's not like it was a problem, it just meant that they could have more fun.

They took two cars as all seven of them couldn't exactly fit into one five-seater car. Because of this, it was Hoseok, Yoongi and Jungkook in one while Jin, Namjoon, Jimin and Taehyung were in the other.

Over the car ride, Hoseok seemed to be getting some of his energy back as he forced himself into the conversation. It was either that, or the fact that the coffee that he had before was finally making an effect and giving him the energy that he needed for the day.

In total it took around an hour and a half to reach their desired destination. It was simple. But, in this case, simple was more. It was a large open field just to the right of a car park which was where they parked the two cars. The field was hardly a field and was more of a white setting with no grass in sight.

The snow absorbed the sound around them making the silence almost deadly. With this silence, each person could do as little as whisper and another person would be able to hear them.

At first, they didn't know exactly what they were going to do as they only decided to go to this snow-filled field and didn't exactly have an idea of what they were going to do there.

"We should play in the snow!" Jimin exclaimed as he started running to the field before anyone could accept his offer. With this, everyone else guessed that this was what they were going to do as they set off onto the field.
