"ARE YOU SERIOUS!! THAT'S BAAAD--!!"

Kai was currently slumped over a tree nearby, deadpan face as Chrome was the only one hyped about the knowledge that Senku was telling them. Heck, even the genius boy was drain out of energy from explaining the science around them. Unlike Chrome, Kai didn't find any point of being hyped like that. How was this something to get excited over?? Man, she was already losing brain cells...and this science talk made it worse for her.

"SO YOU'RE SAYING THE WORLD IS SPINNING??"

A deflated Senku answers slowly, "Y-Yep..."

"If that's true then why am I not flying off this branch??" Kohaku's voice echoes from above Kai, oozing her attention. Now that was something Kai was able to understand and answer.

"Oh I know...!" Kai intervenes, now turning to look up at Kohaku, "It's because of Gravity. If I recall correctly...it was Newton that discovered it,"

Senku now perks at this, now sitting up from his laid position and turning his attention towards Kai with a surprise look. He knew very well Kai wasn't as smart as himself, instead she was much like Taiju...being that both were brawns than brains. Maybe she wasn't as brainless as Taiju?

"You're right...heck I'm surprise you even know about that," Senku chuckles, leaning a bit over his arm. Kai turns to this, before looking up at the night sky above. She silently admired the sky, much reminding her of her old days in the modern world. Even then, they night sky was so beautiful.

"I don't...." She chuckles a bit, "Well...more like I don't understand the whole science behind it," Kai lets out a small smile, making Senku raise a brow at this, "Someone close to me told me the wonders of space...so I guess I just remembered what they said..."

Senku hums, now his turn to look back at the stars above. He too recalled a special someone who was also fascinated by space like himself.

"They also told me about that star," Kai proceeds to point at a rather large star, "The North star, it always points north...well...that's what I've been told,"

Chrome looks up, a bit skeptical, "Oh really?"

"If you ask me...the north star seems slightly off from north," Kohaku points out, making Kai pale at the thought, "Wait...the north star moves??"

"No... impossible," Senku was now fully up, poking his ear with his pinkie, "The margin of error---" That's when it hit him.

"Did the Earth's axis tilt!?"

Senku continued to ramble, a surprise look on his face, "Little by little...the earth has shifted entirely! Now, the year of 5739...the North star has moved!!"

Kai was still baffled from what he was saying. But she was told that the north star never moved...?? So then??

"Hold on...how did you guys know that the North star shifted??" Senku questions, now looking back at Chrome and Kohaku. Seeing how oblivious he was, Chrome lets out a haughty laugh, "Oh~ it even seems that our Senku doesn't know about this stone!!"

Just then, Chrome pulls out a bucket of water, where a stone rock of some sort was floating on top of a leaf.

"Somehow! This rock always points perfectly north!! Isn't that amazing?!"

Senku eyes the object, a bit perplex, "It's a magnet..."

Chrome falls back, almost as if he was throwing a tantrum. He for sure thought he got Senku, but it looked like the male was already steps ahead of him, "OF COURSE YOU KNEW--!"
