Eyes flash.

Familiar eyes.

A face.

The touch.

The grin.

The hand raises back close my eyes as it comes closer to me. It hits me.

I gasp sitting up in bed.

Breathing heavy I look at my iPad.

5:48

I lay back in bed. I touch my cheek. I attempt settle myself as my chest lifts up and down, I try to control my breathing.

That was Jeremy. But he was also at the interview with Austin.

Oh my god. The guy who tried to choke me at the interview was Jeremy.

"Can I pleeeaase drive now?" I ask my mom.

"Emma give it a few more days, you just came out of the hospital." She says.

I groan and go to my room

I plop on my bed and go on my iPad. I go on Instagram onto the dms. There's a recent message from Chase.

"Hey." He writes.

"Hey." I reply.

"I was wondering if you could maybe give me your number instead of texting through here?" He wrote.

"I would but I don't have a phone right now." I say.

"If you don't want to give your number to me you could just say that." He writes.

"No I mean I literally don't have a phone right now I'm using my iPad." I reply back.

"Really?" He asks.

"Really. I'm getting it back today so I'll tell you then." I say.

"R u driving there." He asks.

"I'm not, my mom's not allowing me to drive." I send.

"I could give you a ride." He texts.

"That's alright, Austin's gonna give me a ride." I write back.

"You sure? Isn't he busy with like singing and stuff?" He asks.

"I don't think so." I reply.

"He probably lives far away, I could drive you." He replies.

Ok now I feel uncomfortable. I said Austin's driving me why must he continuously request to drive me.

Plus I've only talked to this guy twice and seen him in person once.

"He doesn't, really thanks for the offer though." I reply, turning off my iPad.

I get on a sweater black leggings and Ugg boots.

I swing my hand bag around my wrist.

"Mom, I'm going over Austin's." I say leaving the house.

"Hey weirdo." A voice says, I look up.

"Hey." I chuckle.

"I was just heading over your house to see if you needed a ride." Austin says.

"I was going over your house to ask for a ride." I say. He grins.

He nods his head over to his car. I follow after him. Austin opens the car door for me.

"Thanks." I say climbing into the car. He closes the door then goes on the other side.
