11. "I missed you so much".

"Will dad be home soon?". Your little girl asked as she was seated in front of the window, impatient for her father to return. "Yes, darling". You replied, impatient yourself, however you kept your feelings under control when you stroked her hair and kissed her cheek. Your other daughter was seated on the couch, in front of the TV. At the moment, an episode of Spongebob was more interesting than looking out of the window and waiting for Sebastian's car to turn onto the porch, yet you knew she'd jump up as soon as he'd arrive. The youngest, the only boy of the three kids, was taking his nap and you kept the baby monitor within hearing distance. You were sure the sounds of Sebastian arriving would wake him up. He was nearly one year old and you and Sebastian were as happy as you were when your two daughters were born. It was a full house when he was gone, yet still the girls and even the little boy missed their father as much as you missed your husband.

This season was hectic, as he was gone for three weeks before he'd come back home, but today was the day he came back to you and you'd be able to spend some time together. You were married to Sebastian for so long and you were used to being the wife of a Formula 1 driver, but that never took away the longing feeling to have him back home after a race weekend. Finally, his car turned onto the porch and the girls squealed with excitement, jumping up from their seats, the TV long forgotten as they sprinted to the back door. You turned the TV off before joining them, watching as they ran outside to their father. Sebastian got out of the car and kneeled down for his daughter to jump into his arms. "Meine Prinzessinnen". (My princesses). He cooed, hugging them tightly and kissing their cheeks. You smiled widely when he stood up, the girls still clamping onto him as he reached out for you. He pecked your lips a couple times. "I missed you so much". He sighed, caressing your cheek.

"We missed you too, dad!". Mathilde called, pulling on his arm as she wanted another hug. He lifted his daughters up to pull them closer to the both of you. "We made cookies with mom". Emilie said. "You have to come and taste them". Mathilde filled in after her sister. "Just got home and immediately giving me a task?". Sebastian asked and it caused the girls to giggle. "Go get the cookies". You encouraged them and they wriggled out of his grip to sprint back inside. Sebastian kissed your cheek when you walked inside. "I'll go get him". He said when he heard the soft cries of the little boy who was sleeping upstairs. Sebastian got upstairs, quietly walking into the baby room for his son. The baby stopped crying when he saw his father, his little arms and legs moving up and down, eager for Sebastian to pick him up. "Are you awake, hmm?". He hummed, lifting him up and peppering kisses to his chubby cheeks, causing the baby to squeal with laughter.

You peaked your head around the corner to check up on them, your heart immediately swelling at the sight of them two. Coming home to you and his family meant the most to Sebastian. He'd forget about the current situation of his team, about how he felt within the team and you meant more to him than anything else in the world. "He just wanted to see his father". Sebastian smiled at you when you neared them. "He can join his sisters downstairs". You muttered, caressing his chubby face as the little boy smiled at you, reaching out for his mom next. Sebastian handed you over to him, watching you with his son. "I love you so much". He sighed, kissing the top of your head. "Mom, dad! Cookies are here!". The girls yelled and you laughed. "Let's not make them wait". Sebastian said and you got downstairs, the whole family together.

A/N: Has Sebastian actually mentioned the name of his son that was born last year?
