As the glass dome came into view, she latched onto her ability and flew towards it, shattering the glass and rolling in. Haven jogged over to the electronic room and plugged the blade in, hearing it click. "Alpha lock." She stated into the coms.

"Falcon, Steve, where are you now?" Hill asked as Haven flew back out of the helicarrier.

"Had to take a detour!" Sam shouted, obviously flying through gunshots. "I'm in. Bravo lock."

"Two down, one to go."

Haven's feet touched back down on the concrete and her eyes searched for Steve, wanting to help him get in. She knew it was harder for him than her and Sam because he couldn't fly.

"Six minutes," Hill said, just as Haven spotted Steve.

Running over, he gave her a nod. "Good thing you're here, I'm gonna need a ride."

Haven chuckled gripping onto him and diving off of the carrier.

He was heavy, but nothing she couldn't handle. Flying over, the pair touched down on a different helicarrier. "Thanks." He smiled, turning to face her as he walked.

Haven gave a nod, glancing down at her feet for a split second. But that was all it took.

She saw a flash of sunlight bouncing off of metal and Steve was gone. Haven turned and ran, trying to catch him from falling but a hand latched onto her leg. A cold, metallic hand.

She felt her body being thrown backward and as she collided with the hard concrete, she saw the world start spinning. Though, unlike a Sight, this was painful and unexpected. Haven pressed her ability down, allowing herself a crutch as she stood.

The pounding in her head threatened to tear her apart, she had never felt anything like it before.

The blue in his eyes bore into hers as he stepped closer, the boy she saw in her Sight was long gone.

He wrapped his metal hand around her throat, lifting her body from the ground. Haven scratched at his hand, knowing he didn't feel it. Panic began to rush in as the corners of her vision turned black. It was ironic really, the air binder being suffocated to death. Definitely not the way she saw herself going.

"Don't you- remember me?" She gasped, looking into his eyes, pleading for the boy she saw this morning. The one who had the truth on the tip of his tongue. The boy who was robbed.

"I remember everything." He growled, pushing her back until his grip was the only thing keeping her from falling off of the edge.

Haven searched for her ability, needing to know it would catch her, but it never came. Her legs dangled over nothing, the Winter Soldier holding her 3,000 feet above the ground.

"I remember everything, " he seethed again, squeezing her neck so tight Haven feared it was a matter of seconds before the bones cracked. Then, as fast as it happened, he let go, standing on the edge and watching her fall.

The blonde woman dozed in and out of conciseness, her body plummeting without the help of her ability.

The world was spinning, and she didn't know if it was due to a head injury or the fact that she was descending without any form of assistance. It was just her and gravity.

"Haven? Haven, do you copy? Does anyone have a location on Haven?"

She knew his voice as it echoed through her earpiece. She knew the rasp it got when he panicked, she knew the seriousness of his tone when he was fighting.

She closed her eyes, watching as he searched around the carrier. His expression was worried but it gave Haven a bit of relief to know that he hadn't fallen as she had. Steve stayed safely on the ship.

Haven's body twisted and she saw the ground inching its way closer. If she didn't reach out, try her absolute hardest to ease her landing, she would die. She wasn't ready for that yet.

She pulled at the air around her, getting nothing in return. It almost felt like her ability was angry with her. Haven didn't take no for an answer, pushing harder as she began to see the cracks in the concrete the closer it got.

She squeezed her eyes shut, not wanting to see the ground closing in on her. She surged every bit of energy she had left into the air, pushing and pulling on it to help her right now.

The throb in her head increased under the stress she was putting on her body, it hammered against her skull and she was sure it was beginning to shatter.

Haven sucked in a breath of air, hearing a loud smack, and an intense pain shot through her body.

A wave of energy boomed out of the gun, shattering the blue man's weapon and sending the purple gem flying into the air.

Haven watched closely as a Midgardian man jumped, reaching out for what she knew to be the Power Stone.

Ronan and the man both reached for the stone, the scene playing out in slow motion and Haven didn't know which way to look.

The second the stone touched the Midgardian man's fingers, a loud explosion surged through the air. He fell to the ground, gripping the powerful object as tightly as he could. Sparks of purple were flying and Haven turned to watch the other members standing around the area.

"Peter! Take my hand!" The green woman, Gamora, shouted, reaching her palm out to the man. "Take my hand!"

He grabbed onto her, causing her to let out a scream of pain. Their flesh turning purple and seemingly burning away. Drax and Rocket joined in, all holding onto each other as the violet shot through the air.

"You're mortal! How?" Ronan shouted, angered by their ability to wield the power of an infinity stone.

Peter glared at him, "you said it yourself, bitch. We're the Guardians of The Galaxy."
