Summary:
It follows the life of the new Earth Deity, Momozono Nanami (Mimori Suzuko), after she ends up alone and homeless. Things go from bad to terrible as Nanami finds herself wrapped up in the world of spirits and the supernatural, with her deity contract sealed by kissing fox spirit Tomoe (Tachibana Shinnosuke). From there, we are introduced to an array of quirky spirits that have a contagious sort of energy to them. All of this provides an entertaining mix of unabashed shoujo bubbles, wacky situations with spirits pretending to be students, and the occasional delve into the past of these deities to see how everything connects with the present. There’s also the prevailing fact that Nanami is falling in love with Tomoe, stepping into the forbidden territory of love between human and spirit!

Own opinion:
Probably the most surprising sequel of the season, Kamisama Hajimemashita returns despite never quite reaching booming popularity. Promise, I was really surprised that kamisama hajimemashita has a second season. I thought it won’t have a second season anymore, I was about to lose hope but finally here it is! Yes! Tomoyo is back!!
The first season aired back in 2012, and was one of those under-watched shows that deserved more than it got. Kamisama Hajimemashita promises to be exactly what set it self up as originally, and that guarantees another enjoyable season fans of this cute little series.
