Summary:
Arima Kousei (Hanae Natsuki) was a child prodigy, a piano player instructed by his mother. Though he had a lot of promise, his career came to a screeching halt when his mother died and he became psychologically unable to hear his own piano playing despite having good hearing. After a failed recital, Kousei becomes depressed and refuses to play again. His world becomes plain and without color until he meets Miyazono KaoriTaneda Risa, a beautiful violinist with plenty of spirit. She helps Arima become interested in music once again and has him realize that passion is just as important as technique.

Own opinion:
Good art, good storyline. Yep you have the right guess! This is the number one in my list. Maybe this is the only anime that caugh my eye in the first glance. With all the romance and dramatic storyline this is one of the anime you shouldn't missed! I'm very very very sure you will like this.
