Something about edd

Chapter 9

All edd could see was darkness,so he figured he had been knocked out.

'Why?'edd thought it made no sense ,if this was all just a joke that Kevin was playing then why would he try to protect him?

He could feel someone with strong arms pick him up and start to carry him out of the lunch room as he lost consciousness all together

As he let himself dive into the dark parts of his brain he couldn't help but think about The jock.
What did he feel for his red headed saviour??? Edd had always thought he had some attractive features and Definitely admired the passion he put forth for his various sports teams. But Kevin was also a bully at times and could be very ...well he was KEVIN THE JOCK WHO SEEMED TO HAVE 2/3 OF HIS DICK SHOVED INTO HIS PERSONALITY!!! Edd couldn't help but laugh at his statement "god they must have hit me harder than I thought!!"he thought to himself as his mind began to Dissect every little thing about Kevin.He could be nice ,funny, and charming however that didn't change the fact that He had been hurt by the red head before. Even thought the red head was acting nicer towards him and his friends his sudden change in behaviour didn't exactly sit right with him either and that made him all the more determined to use logic with this situation so that past mistakes wouldn't happen again. He had always been quick to forgive Kevin finding that most times the three eds had deserved what he gave him. However The words in Kevin's note seemed to resonate in his head and replay at the strangest of times and he felt nervous around him though Not in a 'romantic way' he thought ,but then again it could be??? It was all so confusing to him!
Kevin had said that he had feelings towards him but why would he? What did he see in him? Why would this all be coming to the surface now and not after a attempt at friendship was made? All of these questions left Edd wondering whether he felt the same or not as it was beginning to look like more of a possibility

Slowly his eyes began to open and light got to work on chasing away all the troublesome thoughts ,he let out a small groan as he tried to sit up Immediately regretting his decision.

"Ed ...ED HE'S WAKING UP ..GET OVER HERE!!!"eddy screeched ,followed then by a groan of frustration "dude he doesn't need any more bandages!"
Edd slowly blinked his eyes to find eddy standing over him and Ed going through the nurses office in search of god knows what medical tools.
"W what happened "edd asked

"Kevin that fucking jackass " eddy said angrily "he-"

"Hey I'm right here"Kevin interrupted leaning up against the door frame, edd had only just noticed him as he spoke up
"And this totally wasn't my fault"

"As I was saying he jumped in and tried to 'save' you however you got hit anyway so... He did a shitty job of it!!"eddy continued some what unfazed. Ed shot both of them an annoyed look and then turned his attention back to Edd.

"Hey Double d are you ok ?"Ed asked with a look of concern

"Yes ed I am content ...although my head hurts and- wait why Am I covered in bandaids?"he questioned well he pulled at one on his elbow.

"It's all he could think of...dude you were out for like an hour"Kevin answered with a frown

"Jesus Kevin he was out for like 15 minutes!!"eddy corrected

Edd looked at the ground and pulled his knees to his chest."I'm sorry" he mumbled
"I apologize " eddy and Ed looked at each other with sad Expressions ,well Kevin just looked confused. Edd spoke up again " I just had to go ...I I dragged you along ...I ...this is all my fault!!! I should have just stayed home like you guys had said oh I'm so very foolish" Ed sat on the nurses cot and wrapped his arms around edd who had started shaking,

"This isn't your fault double d this,this is all on me and my stupid team ...don't apologize" Kevin still stood in the doorframe slightly jealous of Ed's arms around double d ,he spoke quietly as if to himself although eddy overheard everything and looked up.

"Ed lets get him home" eddy spoke up quickly " yo dickhead you ok with skipping?" He asked turning to Kevin

"Really dork ...you want me around?"Kevin asked with eyebrows raised

"You stood up for us Soooo I guess we're cool now...Not friends ,but okay...for the day its like a one time thing ....your still a dick okay?" everyone in the room was shocked at the sight of eddy attempting to extend the olive branch to his so called enemy.

"..."

"Well...........what is it?"eddy shifted uncomfortably

"Yea I'm in" Kevin answered shooting a quick grin at double d who returned it with a small smile "lets get out of here!!"

"YAAAAY EDDY AND KEVIN ARE FRIENDS DOUBLE D THERE LIKE BUTTERED TOAST AND GRAVY!!!"Ed shouted as he embraced the two in a death hug.

"Umm sure ed " edd replied with a smile, even though Ed could be serious he always had a tendency to say the strangest things with perfect timing ,witch edd Thought was a wonderful trait and a perfect distraction to the odd situation at hand.
