Third person's POV
"Let go of me! Ano ba?!"
Naabutan nilang hawak hawak ng mga alipores ni Lauren si Jade. Agad na lumapit si Roxanne kanila Gab nang makita ang mga ito.
"What happened?" agad na tanong ni Ellaine.
"We were just passing by when Jade accidentally bump into Lauren." Roxanne explained. Gab sighed out of frustration.
"Ah!" Napalingon sila ng tumili si Jade. Nanlaki ang mga mata nila ng makita siyang lumulutang sa ere. Kinokontrol ito ng mga kasama ni Lauren na tuwang tuwa sa ginagawa.
Nakita ni Gab na sinugatan ng isa sa mga alipores ni Lauren ang pinsan niya sa mukha. Nagdudugo ito at makikitang dumadaing ang pinsan niya dahil dito.
"Put her down." They all flinched when Gab was behind their back. Coldness is all they can see in her face.
Lumapit si Lauren sa kanya at nakangisi pa. "What if we don't want to? What are you gonna do, daughter of Hades?"
The sky suddenly turned darker, the temperature is getting colder. Darkness covered the whole place and everyone started shivering.
Even Ellaine, daughter of Goddess Athena who fears nothing, doubted herself being scared. It's an anonymous feeling that she never felt before. A strong presence that can take anyone down.
"Put her down."
Dahan dahan nilang binaba si Jade na nakatulala lang din sa kanyang pinsan. Nalilito. Hindi ito ang pinsang kilala niya.
"This is the presence of a child of the big three." Ellaine whispered. She's been feeling this kind of aura in Roxanne and Callum, who's also an offspring of one of the big three. But what she is feeling towards Gab is different.
No one ever felt this kind of chills before. Everyone is confused and afraid.
"Gab.." tinawag ni Roxanne ang pinsan. Napansin niyang hindi ito gumagalaw at nakatingin lang kay Jade.
Her eyes are like an endless pit of darkness. No emotions can be seen. Her hair became even more darker, skin paler than before. They are watching her turning into her true form. A form of a half blood.
"Gab.." Napasinghap si Roxanne ng bigla itong lumingon sa kanya. Hindi ito sumasagot at kinikilatis lang ang mga mukha ng nasa harap niya.
Maya maya ay bigla itong ngumiti na nagmistulang ngisi. Biglang siyang napalibutan ng itim na usok. Tila anino na pinoprotektahan siya. When the smoke reached them they started coughing.
Ellaine figured that they won't be able to breathe if they get too close to the smoke. Everyone panicked. Some tried to stop Gab but failed because they couldn't get anywhere near her. Before the smoke spread someone arrived and put Gab into sleep.
"Enough.."
Gab's POV
I woke up in an unfamiliar room. I turned my gaze at my surroundings. I tried to sit but my head hurts, it feels like it was hammered.
"Hi! How are you?" Napalingon ako sa lalaking nakangiti sa gilid ng kamang hinihigaan ko.
"Where am I? Why are you here? What happened?"
"You passed out yesterday. You also didn't show up in the library so I went to your dorm and your cousin said you were in the infirmary so I'm here." Mahabang paliwanag niya.
I've been asleep since yesterday? That's why my head hurts.
"Daldal mo." Natawa lang siya dahil sa sinabi ko.
"Bakit ikaw lang nandito?"
