"Fine," Misun gives up, throwing her hands in the air in defeat. The boys all yell excitedly, discussing which breed they want and who will feed it. "But," she starts, all eyes snap to her, "It has to be a small dog, no bigger than Kookie." She says sternly, eyeing each of the boys.

"Okay Misun," They all agree before returning back to their excited chatter.

--

"Look!" Jimin pointed, freezing in his tracks. He led the family, so him stopping caused everyone else to stop as well. "A puppy!" There sat a puppy that looked like a German Shepherd, but much, much longer hair.

"Tae!" Misun tried to grab Taehyung's arm, but he already ran forward, hugging the puppy tightly. Hoseok and Namjoon ran forward as well, giggling as the dog licked them. "No! It could have rabies!" Misun sat Jungkook down, Jin having to help Jungkook balance as Misun pulled her boys away from the dog, Taehyung whining in protest.

"It doesn't look like it has rabies!" Taehyung stomped his foot, not budging. "He's not foaming! Mimi! I read about this!"

"You can read?" Yoongi raised an eyebrow, Taehyung kicking pebbles at his older brother. Misun looked down at the dog staring up at her with wide eyes. With a sigh, she picked up the dog, looking at the vet clinic just down the street.

"Alright, follow me."

----

"You boys are lucky they had openings today." Misun wiped the ketchup from the side of Jungkook's mouth, catching the drink before it spilled from Hoseok's careless elbow. "Careful please. Jin, let go of Yoongi's hair." Misun smiled gratefully at Namjoon who scooted Yoongi away, sitting between the eldest.

"Mimi." Jimin paused his nibbling on his chicken nugget, eyes wide. "Can I have a hug?" Jimin sat down his nugget, opening his arms. Misun smiled, hugging the boy tightly.

"Are you okay Jimin?" Misun asked gently, the boys all resuming their normal state. All but Taehyung.

Taehyung has noticed Jimin's change lately. He hasn't cried as much....

Jimin always cried when Taehyung teased him. But now he would just sigh and walk away.

"Jiminie, where's your yellow blanket?" Taehyung crawled onto Misun's lap, Misun steading the boy. "You never go out without it."

"I left it in the car." Jimin looked down as he wrung his hands together, sadness laced in his voice. Misun panicked.

"Jiminie, let me go grab it for you-" She grabbed the keys from her purse, but Jimin latched onto her arm.

"No, it's okay. I left it in there on purpose." Jimin kept his eyes low. Jimin is scared of eye contact yes, but he never had his eyes low. They were always dancing around, observing everything around him.

"Come here Jimin." Misun pulled Jimin into her lap, the other boys slowly quieting down, noticing the dark mood. "What happened? What happened to my bubbly Jimin?" Jimin turned to Misun, hugging her tightly, hiding his face in her shoulder.

"The boys at the park called me a baby." He spoke loud enough for everyone to hear, silent tears only Misun could feel. Misun's eyes dug into his brothers, but they raised their hands, not the ones who bullied Jimin.

"Were they people you don't know?" Misun pulled Jimin's hands from his face, turning him so his brothers could see as well.

"Yes."

"I'll kill them!" Jungkook shocked everyone, standing in his chair, his french fry crushed in his fist. "Yoon!" Yoongi picked up the plastic knife he somehow had-where did that even come from?

"Names, Jimin." Yoongi leaned forward, eyes narrow as they bore into his younger brother. "I need names."

"N-no. You can't hurt them." Jimin shook his head, Misun helping him wipe away his tears.

"But they were mean to you!" Jin frowned, not understanding why his little brother was against revenge. "We have to avenge you!"

"No. I don't want to hurt them. Please." Jimin locked eyes with Jin, Jin overwhelmed by the power his younger brother's eyes held. "Leave them alone." Taehyung held Jimin's hands.

"I'll protect you Jiminie."

Misun leaned down and kissed Jimin's cheek, hugging him tighter. "I'll watch more carefully next time Jimin. But for now, you are no baby. You are the sweetest, most kindest boy I know. And I have great pride calling you my family."

"Misun, the boys are talking, shush."

"Excuse me??"

"Yeah. Let the brothers talk, you...you sister!"

"That's....no, don't say that."

"Grandma."

"No....no not at-you've....nevermind."

"Mimi is weird."
