Background: This is written by Mavie Notey which is requested by the MPS admin. This poem is supposed to be a blank verse, a narrative poetry about true friendship. But the author prefer to use rhymes in poetry. This poem is in trochaic pentameter with rhymes. Instead of blank verse, this is now called rhymed poetry in trochaic pentameter.
True friends, one of a kind but rare to find
Like gold, need to excavate from depth ground
Stay longer and get tastier like wine
Tell them bastard words,well they do not mind
They keep your secrets, who knew the real you
Ain't perfect, but perfectly they accept
When one bullies you --- fighter, they'll be there
When you're down, they can be a cheerleader.
Who will understand and listen to you
Who can give words in order you to grow
They accept your past, support your present
Gives you their whole trust, honesty is meant.
All they wanted to give is happiness
Regard your flaws and esteem your presence
Still loves you, behind your imperfections
Infinity love is their foundation .
Ain't blood related --- can be your sister
They care like your own mother and father
Their true love and sincere care has no end
Embrace the whole you, you had a true friend
