Talk

"Congrats! Oh my, I am so happy for you!" I hugged Noelle using only my left arm, because I'm holding a glass on my other hand.

"Thank you..." She said, then I heard her sobs. I laughed a bit.

"Congrats Dustin!" I shouted at him. He's behind Noelle. We're in a bar, so we cannot hear each other clearly. "Sana lahat ng lalaki katulad mo. Nagtatagal." I joked.

"Someone is bitter!" Noelle teased. She even looked away, like she's not pertaining to me. I just rolled my eyes.

"For the newly engaged!" One of our friends shouted. He lifted his hand with a glass.

"For the newly engaged!" Everyone mimicked what he said and also lifted our hand with a glass and made a toast.

Dustin surprised Noelle here in the bar. We helped him get Noelle's yes. I'm amazed with how strong their relationship are. They've been through a lot, before getting this far.

"Sorry, I'm late!" Sabi ng kadatating lang na si Ryker. "Congrats to your engagement!" He congratulated the two.

"Hindi mo na naabutan ang nangyari! Bakit ba ngayon ka lang?" Sabi ni Noelle sa boses na parang nagtatampo.

"Nanuyo!" Ako ang sumagot. Sinabayan ko 'yon ng tawa. I was just kidding, but Ryker glared at me.

"May inasikaso lang."

I looked at him with a teasing smile, but he just ignored me and get his drink.

We just dance and dance. The alcohol were already in our system.

"My head is spinning, let's sit for a while." Aya ko sa kanila. Sumang ayon naman sila dahil, kahit sila ay halatang mga nahihilo na din. Pumunta kami sa sofa namin at nagpahinga.

"Look! Is this Wren's girlfriend? A girl tagged him in a photo." Someone on our group whispered. Pinakita niya sa katabi ang phone.

"The caption says it is."

Natigilan ako sa dapat na pag inom sa baso. Ito ang unang beses na nakarinig ulit ako ng tungkol sa kaniya. It's been five years since I last heard news about him, that's where he went back to Australia. Walang nakakaalam kung bakit. They said that Anne didn't even know why.

"Hoy, ano 'yang pinag uusapan niyo? Pinagbabawal 'yan dito!" Ryker jokingly said at the two. Nagsorry naman sila at tinago na ang phone.

Kahit nagbalik na ulit sa kung ano ano ang usapan, iniisip ko pa rin ang narinig ko. May girlfriend na siya. Hindi ko alam kung anong mararandaman ko. Pero dapat wala na, 'di ba? It's been five years. Dapat wala na akong pake.

"Don't think about him." Ryker said beisde me.

"I'm not. I'm thinking about something else." I frowned.

"Kunwari naniniwawala ako." He mocked. I rolled my eyes at him.

I woke up in my room, my head is throbbing. Hindi ko na alam kung paano ako nakauwi sa condo ko kagabi dahil sa pagkalasing.

I reached my phone at the bedside table to check for the time. But the moment I opened my phone, last night's conversation about Wren popped up on my mind. I unconsciously clicked the facebook and went to the search bar, but I stopped myself for searching his name.

Why do I even care?! Ano ngayon kung may girlfriend na siya? Kawawa naman ang girlfriend niya kung ganoon.

Hindi ako mapakali kakaisip. Wala namang mawawala kung ichi-check ko, right? So, in the end, I found myself browsing on his timeline, but I didn't see any post. Lalo lang sumakit ang ulo ko! Baka hindi naman totoo? I went to his instragram account, pwede rin doon.
