Soulmate AU Parrlyn (see that, guys I've learned from my mistakes of spelling Parrlynn instead of Parrlyn)
TW: parents fighting.
Anne POV
I look outside my window, I could hear my parents fighting downstairs. "You can't force her to date someone that's not her soulmate!" Mom yells
"I can do what I want she's my daughter!" He yells
"She's my daughter too!" Mom yells, I start crying. All they've been doing is fighting, my dad was trying to force me to date a guy named Henry and I didn't want to, all I wanted was to see my soulmate, I just wanna know what they looked like. They say that once you meet your soulmate the first color you see is the color of their eyes. Then you got every other color, and anything they write
"She doesn't even know if he's her soulmate!" Dad yells
"You can't force her into doing anything she doesn't want to do." I plug my ears and start humming a song.
"Anne needs to marry a rich and wealthy person, Henry is exactly that! I don't care about her soulmate!" He says and I run downstairs my ears still plugged, they started yelling over each other that I could hear them even after humming the sing and plugging my ears
"Shut up." I say through gritted teeth, they don't hear me "shut up, shut up. Shut up. Shut up!" I yell getting louder each time, they both go silent, "stop fighting over me! I have to do homework! Dad, you can't force me to date Henry, I don't want to and I don't have to. Mom saying the same things over and over again isn't going to do anything but just repeat the fight over and over agin so can we please just shut up." I say through gritted teeth again, Mom walks upstairs and Dad goes to his office, leaving me standing in the middle of the living room, I wipe away my tears. I just want to meet my soulmate, I just want to see my soulmate, I miss them and I don't even know them. Mary walks downstairs.
"Are they done fighting?" She asks
"For right now." I say, "I'm going to go buy some canvases, I'll be home soon." I say and walk outside.
Next day
I had gotten no sleep because mom and dad were fighting again, I grab my converse and put them on, I run downstairs not bothering to grab breakfast, I run out the front door. My face was probably puffy and red from crying again this morning. The bus drives around the corner and I walk on, taking a seat by myself, I pull out my sketch book and pencil and start sketching. I try to imagine what my soulmate looks like but it's impossible.
I walk past Henry only to be pulled backwards by him gripping my arm "meet me at lunch." He says and I pull my arm away from him
"No." I say and walk to my locker, I grab my book for science, I feel my wrist start tingle. I look down at my wrist, 'hi' it read, I pull out my marker 'hello' I write back, I walk to my first hour class and sit down next to Kat, she was my cousin. I groan and lay my head down on the desk,
"What happened?" She asks
"Mom and Dad would not quit fighting over me dating Henry last night, I cried too much." I say and Kat hugs me
"I'm sorry Annie." She says
"It's okay." I say back and our silence teacher starts talking. I look at my wrist again, 'How was your night?' I grab Kats pink marker and start writing 'awful, my dad wants me to date a boy named Henry, and my mom and him were fighting all night last night' I wrote back
"Ms. Boleyn, what's the answer to this question?" Ms. Jackson asks, I quickly read the question
"Um. A?" I say more as a question
"Correct, but please pay attention." She says and I nod my head blushing from embarrassment. I quickly take a leak at my wrist 'sorry you had a rough night, if I could I would hug you' I smile and turn my head and pay attention.
2 hours later
I smile and laugh at Kat and Anna then I saw color, I stop moving and look at the doors, "Kat, Kat what color is that?" I ask pointing to the door
"Um blue, why?"
"Their eyes are blue," I mumble and slowly other colors start coming into vision, I look at Kats hair which was a vibrant color. I pull out a marker from my bag 'where are you right now?' I write 'by the water fountain near Mr. Williams classroom.' They write back and I run past the students
"Annie! Where are you going?!" Jane yells and I ignore her, then saw a girl with curly hair and blue eyes, "are you my soulmate?" I ask and she shrugs her shoulders 'hi' I write and she pulls up her sleeve, and there it was, my handwriting on her wrist. She jumps into my arms and I hold her tight, I start crying a little. I breath in a sign of relief, she smells like flowers. She starts crying into my shoulder.
"Hi." I say setting her down
"Hi." She says back smiling
"I'm Anne, you can call me Annie if you want." I say
"I'm Catherine, but Cathy is better than Catherine." She says and I hug her again,
"I've been waiting for this day since I was five." I say and she giggles "your giggle is really cute." I say and she starts blushing
"I love your eyes." She says and I smile, she hugs me really tight "I'm sorry about your parents fighting last night." She says
"It fine, now my dad can't force me to date Henry." I say
"Quick question, which Henry?" She asks
"Henry Tudor." I say and she gags
"Ew." She says and I nod, Jane runs up behind me
"Anne why's your run away?" She asks and I grab Cathys hand
"This is Cathy, she's my soulmate." I say and Jane smiles
"I'm Jane, I'm Anne's cousin." She says and shakes hands with Cathy. I smile knowing that my life had just gotten 10X better than it was.
