(Kaidens POV)
It was Kaiden's 2nd year as an apprentice with Karter, Finn, and Hunter. He was already applying for warden training at the start of the new year.
He knew Alex didn't want him to leave her to face her second year as an apprentice alone. She had been given an apprenticeship with Hunter, Karter and Tayla. Kaiden couldn't wait until they both graduated that way they could move somewhere quiet with not a lot of neighbours and no where close to her parents (Alex's must have), get married and start a family.
Kaiden knew these thoughts would terrify her because he was thinking of their future together, which she thought would be many many years away from now.
He knew that she was his everything, and that she was the only one that he would ever care for.
A/N: i know that this chapter is short, but i cant think of anything more to write in tbis chapter. another one will be published today so i hope you can forgive me for this chapter.
