Today was the day,the day I was going to get married,to the love of my life,literally.

"Darling you look absolutely gorgeous"my mum smiled hugging me as I looked at myself in the mirror,just half an hour from walking down the isle.
"You think?"I smiled turning round to her
"Think?hunny I know"she giggled,wiping away tears
"I love you"I smiled hugging her
"I love you too darling"She smiled.

"Come on let's get this over with"My dad sighed walking in
"Oh look at my baby girl Barbara"He smiled hugging me
"I know John"My mum sighed rolling her eyes.
I laughed and looked to my dad
"Are you ready?"My dad smiled to me
"Of course she is look at her"my mum said pointing to me
"Was I asking you?Huh?"He snapped at her
"Oh you bloody-"She grunted before smacking him across the back of the head
"Yes dad,I'm ready"I laughed as we linked arms,I took a deep breath and started walking to the bottom of the isle,the kids had just reached the top after laying out the petals.
"Here she is"A girl smiled as me and my dad began walking down the middle,I looked to Payton who had the biggest smile on his face that I had ever seen,even a tear trickled down his cheek.
"You look beautiful"he smiled as we held hands
"So do you-I mean you look handsome"I giggled making him chuckle
"Are we ready?"The priest smiled,opening a book.
We both looked to eachother before nodding.

(Fast forward you the vows)
"Okay well where do I start,kodie,Iv never met someone more difficult in my life which made me fall in love with you even more.Youve always made me happy in times when I thought I'd never be happy again.Youve shown me what real love is and I'm so lucky to be standing here getting married to you.Youve made me a better person and I couldn't imagine my life without you."He smiled,looking at me directly in the eyes.
I laughed and cried at the same time
"Ok my turn"I giggled,making everyone else giggle
"Okay well first of,the love you've shown me is beyond anything my childhood self could dream of.Youve been there for me in my darkest times.Youve made me love myself more and you've treated me like an actual queen and I don't know where I'd be without you,sometimes I think I wouldn't be here without you.Everytime we're together it's just so surreal and I could never be happier,I love you."I sobbed,tightening my grip on his hands.
"Do you,Payton moormeier take Kodie Hudson to be your lawfully wedded wife?"The priest asked looking to Payton
"I do"He smiled not taking his eyes of me
"Do you,Kodie Hudson take Payton moormeier to be your lawfully wedded husband?"The priest asked looking to me
"I do"I nodded,the biggest smile on my face.

"You may now kiss the bride"He smiled
I giggled before Payton pulled me in and kissed me,the world just fell away and I felt like I was in heaven,now I was happy.

67 years later....
"Do you still love me?"He whispered as I held his hand.
"Of course I do honey,I'll always love you"I smiled as a tear crawled down my cheek
"I know I won't be there..but please take care of the boys for me and make sure Kai takes care of Kate"He smiled as I caressed his cheek.
"Hunny you'll get through this I promise."I sobbed,sitting on the edge of his hospital bed
"Iv had a good life Kodie I'm ready."He smiled,his lip trembling
"No payton your not you still need to see your kids get married"I sobbed
"Sh sh sh,it's okay I'll see you soon"He smiled
"I love you.."He whispered with his last breath
"No no no Payton"I sobbed as his eyes turned into stone and his hand went cold
Then the heart wrenching sound of the flatline rang through my ears
I was alone once again .....
