I opened my eyes again,I was in a darker room this time,and I was on my own.
"Kodie,darling"My mum smiled appearing out of no where
I looked to her and there she stood with my dad,Chase and Charli.
They all looked at me with frowns on there face

"Yayyy Kodie your alive"I muttered sarcastically
"Darling.."my mum started,putting her hand on mine
"What?"I asked taking the oxygen mask from over my mouth
"Jackson's been put in a coma"Chase said frowning.
"What?"I whispered softly,my heart shattered,not my bestfriend.
"He's been put into a coma to save his life."My dad added
"Why?Why him?it wasn't even supposed to happen"I mumbled as tears started streaming down my face
"I know I know hunny"My mum sniffled stroking my hand.
"Can I go see him?"I sobbed looking to her
"No,not yet,we'll get you home first,the you can come back in a few days."She smiled lightly
"What day it is?"I asked looking to my dad since he always had a watch which told you the date
"It's Wednesday"He mumbled looking to his watch
The crash was on Thursday because that was the day Payton left so..Thursday..Friday..Saturday..sun..
Iv been out for 6 days?!
"Am I allowed to come home?"I asked
"I think so,I'll go get a nurse"my dad said turning to the door
"Wait"I said before pressing a button on the machine next to me
10 seconds later
"Check the pulse-"The nurse belted,bursting through the door with two nurses behind her
"Uhhh...can I go home?"I muttered looking to them
"Yes,next time don't press the emergency button"The first one laughed walking forward
"Sorry."I chuckled awkwardly as she took the cannula out from my wrist.
"You have got stitches in your forehead so you will have to come back to get them removed,and obviously you have a few cuts and bruises here and there.We have took you off your 'fluids' and you will have a bit of a headache for a few hours,nothing that paracetamol couldn't cure,if you still have a headache by tomorrow come back.Other than that,you've recovered pretty well"She smiled
"Thank you for taking care of her"My mum smiled to the nurse
"Just doing my job"The nurse smiled back before giving me my clothes that I wore on Thursday.
I wobbled over to the bathroom and began to get changed
"Shall we go?"I sighed coming out,fully clothed.
They all nodded as we started walking out
10 minutes later
"Oh here's your phone"My dad said handing me my phone that was surprisingly,completely unscathed.
I turned it on and looked at all of the notifications

I didn't want to tell him because I didn't want him to rush home or anything
8 hours later at 7:30PM
I drove paytons car to the airport which was really difficult for me since..Thursday.
I sat down and waited..Staring at the exit where everyone comes out from.
I watched as he came out looking like a lost puppy
I smiled lightly and headed towards him
"Hey"I smiled before hugging him
"Oh there you are"He chuckled hugging me back
I didn't want to pull away

2.Because I had a big cut on the side of my forehead
"Can you tell me now?"He said pulling me away,his face dropped as his eyes lifted to my forehead,I teared up and looked down

"Tell me then"He snapped making me up look back up to him
"I don't want to..not here"I muttered looking to him
"Tell me in the car then?"He sighed,frowning at how upset I looked.
I nodded as he wrapped his arm round me as we walked to the car
We got in and he looked to me waiting for me to tell him
"On the way home..From the airport"I started as he nodded.
"Me and Jackson where singing and he looked away,just for a second.And a truck,came out of nowhere and smashed into the front of us"I said,my voice shaking.
"And?wheres Jackson?"He asked raising his brows.
I looked down and started balling my eyes out
"Kodie"He started as he ran his hands through his hair with frustration,looking up.
"He's in a coma"I sobbed,wiping my tears away
"What the fuck"he snapped punching the wheel
The whole drive back was silent.
"You going to yours or mine?"He asked not looking at me.
"Anywhere"I muttered.
"You can come to mine so we can go see Jackson tomorrow?"He suggested quietly
I nodded and rested my head on the window
