"Hello, Mr. Park. This is Mi-cha from Big Hit. I know it's unlikely, but have you misplaced a cat hybrid today?"

Jimin~
I ran into the Big Hit building, looking for her. Mi-cha pointed towards the security office. Opening the door, I saw Poppy sitting in a chair, with a security guard on each side of her, like she was a criminal. She gripped her tail between both hands and her ears were way down. She looked like she wanted to scratch someone's eyes out, but she sat there quietly.

"Oh thank God!" I pulled her out of the chair and hugged her tightly to my chest, kissing her forehead. "I thought I lost you. We've been looking all over for you!" She wrapped her arms around me, relieved I was finally there.

"Can we go home now?" she asked in a tiny voice, still holding onto me tightly.

"Why is she being guarded like this?" I asked, upset at their treatment of her. "I told Mi-cha I was coming to get her, so obviously I know her."

"I'm sorry, sir. We were just taking precautions. Mi-cha told us we were to watch her carefully. She did have your credit card."

"Because I gave her my card to go shopping."

"Jimin," Poppy interrupted, "they took your credit card from me and I couldn't pay Jin-ho."

"Who's Jin-ho?" I asked.

"He's my cab driver. He helped me find my way here and insisted on waiting to see if they could help me. I don't want him to not get paid."

"Don't worry; I'll pay him. In fact, I'll give him extra for bringing you back to me," I assured her. She snuggled into me and I kissed the top of her head.

I looked around the room to see the security staff awkwardly watching us, and Mi-cha standing in the doorway, a guarded expression on her face.

Now was as good a time as any to start introducing Poppy around.

"Everyone, this is Poppy. She belongs with me. Mi-cha, if you could put her name in my file I would be grateful. If she calls or comes in, she can have any information about me she needs, including where I am at any given time."

The security guards politely nodded and greeted Poppy warmly. She smiled at them, but I could tell she was still shook up and wanted to go home. I handed her over to Hae, while I went out to pay the cab driver and thank him. As I walked out, I saw Hae pull Poppy in for a hug and I was glad there wouldn't be any bad feelings between them. Getting separated sometimes just happened.

When we finally got back home, I pulled Poppy close, wanting to snuggle her to calm us both down. The entire time I was searching the streets for her, I was terrified of never seeing her again. It only took the simple act of losing her in a crowd for me to realize how important she was to me already.

"I thought we might never find you," I told her, "it really scared me. It was so smart of you to go to Big Hit."

"I never would have found it without Jin-ho," she said. "I don't think I want to go anywhere without you again."

I pulled her down onto the couch with me, settling her on top of me. "I need to teach you our address, and Hae's right, you need a phone. That little crisis today would have been no big deal if you'd had a phone. My friend, Taemin, called today while you were gone and asked us out for dinner with him and his girlfriend tomorrow night. I think we'll leave early and pick up a phone for you on the way."

"I feel like I'm costing you a lot of money," she said, frowning.

Chuckling, I told her, "Don't worry about that; I have plenty. We won't be living in a cardboard box any time soon."

Her thighs were firm under my fingers, her skin as soft as a baby's. Her dress was so short that I could see her panties as she straddled me. I leaned in to kiss her cheek, my thumbs stroking her soft, inner thigh. Hearing her soft sigh, I gently pulled away from her and suggested that she go change into something more comfortable. Would there ever be a time when I didn't react to her in a sexual way? My feelings for her were still confusing me though, and I didn't want to cloud things by letting that happen.

With a slight pout on her face, she got up and headed for the bedroom. Before she left the room though, she wrapped her arms around my neck from behind and said, "I'll be in the bedroom for a while. I need to calm myself down." Kissing my cheek, she turned and walked out.

Calm herself down? Was she still upset about getting lost today, or was she having the same problem I was whenever we were close?

After fifteen minutes, I went to check on her. She had changed into sport shorts and a cropped t-shirt and was doing yoga. I stood in the doorway watching her, amazed by her grace and unwavering balance. The way she moved was fluid and sexy, showing off long, lean muscles; she should have been a dancer. I couldn't take my eyes off her.

When she was finished, she dropped to the floor to meditate and I left so I wouldn't disturb her. I thought about taking her to the practice room tomorrow morning to see if I could teach her a few dance moves. I had the feeling she would be a natural.

Half an hour later, Poppy reappeared, freshly showered and in her sleeping clothes. It was the first time she'd showered without me. I knew this was progress and that she needed to start doing it on her own, but somewhere inside me, I wasn't sure I was actually happy with it.
