He appeared to me,
So unexpectedly,
In this dream of mine.
It must be a sign.He spoke these words,
And I couldn't believe what I'd heard.
Each carefully crafted syllable,
Travelled through me to cheer up my soul."Love, that face you wear,
Of sadness and despair,
Doesn't quite suit you.
It just won't do.Those plentiful tears,
Don't compliment your beauty, dear.
And sad eyes,
Can't be hidden with your disguise. So near is the end to your suffering,
Darling, you should be smiling.
Drift away from this foggy haze,
And start enjoying your days.Much easier said than done,
But you're stronger than most everyone."I didn't know how to feel,
It had seemed so real,
Like he'd truly been there,
Piercing me with that stare.I suppose I'll try to take his advice,
I'll try once and maybe twice.
Perhaps until I get it right,
Or 'til I finally see the light.Only for him.
Just for him.
Because deep down I know,
I love him.
