-Dedicated to Aneysa and all the hurting, healing mothers out there

May you find encouragement in this prayer
I write, because of the need you shared
To speak of His Hope; Jehovah Shammah
He is God, the Lord who is there

Under His Will that He is bringing you through
What words know or can describe?
Yet He works and redeems to make new
What seeds He plants He resurrects
And makes alive

The pain and trial you bear daily
O mother's heart! Strong and leaning on His grace
His work and mercies never failing
With each sunrise, girds your loins
And uplifts thy face!

Oh the trial! The deep, bitter pain!
I cannot but barely know!
Yet, see that greater than your times of increased grain
His beautiful work He'll show

He shall put forth gladness in your heart
More than even in the season of plentiful wine
From His child He never forsakes nor departs
But lifts up His countenance
And His light to shine

Fear not, mother of God's children
To commit your heart and yield
Though it be that you are feeble
God is mighty and He will heal

His call must be our destiny and fate
To this, He will give us grace to resign
In His hand He keeps you in this season of wait
His love is His tapestry
And redemption, His design

To what end He leads you, I know not
Yet, He will carry you to His High Place
A heart that for His love, constant sought
Shall be answered by His tender, strong embrace

Surely, He weeps with those who weep
And shall rejoice with those who rejoice
Though long lays silent the hidden seed
Yet it shall spring and bear fruit
At the song of His voice

For in faith and trust in Him
What you have sown
He shall cause to bear fruit in joy
It shall not remain alone

God, your Heavenly Father
Has not forgotten the Covenant that He has made
Before your beginning, He saw
And fashioned all your days

He has loved you with an everlasting love
A father who is unchanged
By your struggle, your weakness; His grace is enough
His promise towards you remain

Surely in His book He has written and stored up
Your every cry and tear
The times when you ran dry and empty was your cup
Whispering, “God, are You even near?”

Mother of His child who suffers woe
My heart breaks to understand His will!
Yet by His Word, we shall soon know
His promise, He always fulfills

Though the light of joy
Be veiled by providence' cloud
He is Sovereign and ever present
He will bring thee through thy doubt

The cross that He calls you to bear
He is not a stranger to its load
His Spirit intercedes for you in prayer
He will be with you and you will not walk alone

Oh let His will be done
Through His daughters and His sons
For this hour and life of testing
Is destined to yield
The eternal weight of blessing!

This is our Father; what words can describe?
He is Jehovah-Jireh; the Lord will provide
The Lord is there; Yahweh Shammah
Mighty to save; this is our God

This I remember and know, that the Lord will maintain
The cause of the afflicted and the poor
And shall bring them gladness greater than in times of grain
And shall make there descendents like the sand on the shores

He will give you grace to rise again
For His compassion He daily sends
And causes His Spirit within to sanctify and grow
The light of His love and sovereign blessing
I declare, He shall soon show

O the tears of a burdened heart
I cannot speak but appeal to our God
There is no path that you will have taken
That He has not trod

He does not look down
When you struggle with fear and its shame
Trust in His steadfast love
And believe in His Name

Though the heart is torn
And the edge of faith, worn
With Christ, you are forever sealed
The pain has come
Only that He might heal

Of this I know
Because by the tender love He has shown
In you, He has purposed to show His glory
That it may become your treasure and story

As His children
He will soon show
That through His fire
We shall come forth purified as gold
His sovereign, tender love
That saves us in our need
He will walk this road with us
To teach us to believe
