In the peace and quietness
May my eyes always look to Thee
Lead me O Lord to Your rest
And away from my complacency

Open my eyes to Your deliverance
To understand the need in me
O Lord break me from my prison
If willing, You can make me clean

I did not wait for what would bless
But pursued my wants and dreams
Lead me O Lord to Your rest
And away from my complacency

I let the Enemy provoke and I was driven
I exchanged for a mere vapor to breathe
Lord, bring my soul out of prison
If willing, You can make me clean

How many times will I fail Your test
Before entrusting You my needs?
Father, lead me to Your rest
And break me out of complacency

In this I will find deliverance
When I humble myself and seek
The face of the Savior Risen
And the truth that sets me free

Repent and believe...
