Thursday:Close call

"Its okay i just overreacted take care of your self Mr Sala I have to get going" Johnny said handing the man his credentials

"Asalamaleko" replied Sala as he got into his van and drove off

Johnny walked to his BMW and stopped to watch the van go (its really odd how calm these foreign people can be at times if everyone was like that this world would be a better place) he thought and got into his car. After a few minutes he was pulling up in front of Sonya's house Mary's friend. The neighborhood was very quiet and Sonya's house was of average size. He knocked on the door and a slim blonde came opened the door for him.

"Good morning, I am detective John Smith of the HPD I'm looking for Sonya" he said flashing his badge and putting it back into place

She opened the door for him and made way for him to pass

"Thank you" he said entering into the house

"Wait for me in the living room its to your left" she said, closed the door and went upstairs to get properly dressed as she was only had a drying towel. She came back down after a short while and sat on the couch opposite John

"So detective how may i help you?" she asked

"Ill first like to say i am terribly sorry for your loss" he said and studied her facial expression, it slightly changed she was trying to conceal the pain from him

"She did not deserve this who would do such a thing?" she with her eyes slowly watering

"We will find out who did it i assure you" said John comforting her "Rose had a spouse is it?" he added

"Yes she did Tony" she said and tears began flowing down her cheeks "ohw Tony ohw" she cried

"Sonya I'm sorry we will find who did this please take heart" he said showing a sign of remorse and she stopped weeping

"Shall i continue?" John asked as she wiped away her tears

"Yes I'm sorry this is just so hard for me right now" she replied trying to pull herself together

"Did Tony and Rose ever get into any argument lately?"

"None that i know of and i knew a lot of the things that were going on in their relationship" she said

"Okay i see" John said and wrote something down "what was your relationship with Tony" he added and she flinched which showed him that she was either having an affair with Tony or she had once slept with him

"Well uh Tony was my best friend's boyfriend i knew him through Rose" she said avoiding eye contact

"Okay okay i see and you and Rose did you ever argue recently?" he asked closely monitoring her actions and she kept shaking her right foot which was a sign of nervousness

"No we did not argue as such she just told me she knew what i was doing but i never got to find out what she was talking about" she replied now more nervous than before

"Mmmmm so where were you the night of Rose's murder?" John asked staring at her

"I was at my boyfriend's house Jason" she said

"I see and Jason did he know you were having an affair with Tony?" he asked which startled her and she froze for a sec

"How how can you accuse me of such" she said denying the allegation made by the detective

"Okay forgive me i might have crossed the line anyway thank you for your time Sonya" he said closing his note book

"Wait okay fine he did not know and it was not am affair i just slept with Tony once when Rose was in the hospital with her brother" she said shamefully and looking down
