Zay sat in his dorm room flicking through posts on Instagram in between texts from Isadora. He smiled to himself as his phone beeped, picking it up causing his smile turned into a frown

"Maya asked if you could let Lucas know that she thinks they should stop whatever it is they have..she said she can't do the coming and going thing, that it makes her too upset after..Riley put this idea into her head that she's not the only girl he's interested in..I'm sorry..she said she didn't have his number..and that she thinks it's for the best that she doesn't

Zay sucked in a shaky breath before replying to her,

"I don't know isa..it'll really upset him..maybe try talking to her? She's all he talks about I swear, Lucas hasn't even looked at a girl since the lodge.."

He waited patiently again, sitting up from his bed and tapping his foot on the ground gently to pass time. The door handle to their dorm jiggled, his eyes flew to the door as Lucas walked in, a small smile on his face

"That's the longest class ever" he chuckled. Zay gave him an uneasy smile "that's why sport teaching is a better degree" he chuckled softly. Another beep at his phone caused him to pick it up swiftly and read over the text, he was anxious, it was as if he was the one being broken up with.

If that's how you feel, imagine how Lucas will feel, he thought.

"Please Zay..unless you have some magical solution I don't think she will wait..Maya's stubborn, what she say's goes. So if she thinks something, it takes a lot to convince her otherwise"

Zay chucked his phone down beside him "hey Lucas.." he trailed off awkwardly. Lucas looked over to his friend confused "yea?" He asked, sitting down on the bed across from him

"Isadora has just text me..Maya asked to let you know that she thinks it might be best if you guys stop what's going on..she said she's getting to upset over it and that she loves when you're there but hates that you have to leave again..apparently she has this idea in her head that you're using her..I tried to say you weren't but she said maya's too stubborn to believe it" he said as quickly as he could

Lucas frowned, sitting quietly on his bed "o-oh.." he stuttered, his eyes looking down to the floor. "I'm sorry man..I don't quite know what to say.. it sucks that it's under these circumstances.." Zay looked to him awkwardly

Lucas nodded, "it's cool..I'm just Uh gonna take a walk.." he stuttered, standing up and leaving the room before Zay could protest.

He sighed, Picking up his phone again and messaging Isadora

"I did it..he didn't say anything..he just said he was going for a walk. I hope Maya likes her bed, I'm never doing that again"
