Manik was giving his take. It was his early morning shift. What made him happy was he was having an off and such that he had five leaves. This made him happy to no extent. He was planning to go to Pune to meet his family and stay there for sometime. I was two weeks to the house party
"Cut" he heard and turned to only see Nandini entering his sets. A broad smile instantly made it's way but again frowns appeared as he saw she directly walked to Ahem and started to talk to him.
Lavanya who was doing the scene with him noticed this and smirked.
"Arey Nandu kab aayi" she said in surprise making Manik frown, why was everyone breaking her name and using nicknames
"Hayy kitne pyare lag rahe hai dono" she added making Manik come out his la la land
"Manik are they together?" she asked
"Mujhe kaise pata hoga?" he said making a bad face and walked away not wanting to continue the conversation
He was sitting on the couch when he saw Nandini and Cabir talking to each other. She looked so natural while talking to people. There was no fake happiness while interacting.
Having talked to her Cabir walked to Manik as Nandini exited with Ahem
"Itna kyu has raha hai?" Manik asked annoyed
"Woh it's Navy's birthday next week aur Nandini just gave me the best gift to present her" he said showing Manik a package and then opened it. It was a computerized sketch of Navya and Cabir filled with so many vibrant colors.
"Yeh Nandini ne banaya?" Manik asked surprised taking the sketch in his hand looking at it in awe
"Haan" Cabir said. After admiring the sketch when Manik looked at Cabir he was looking at Manik with a skeptical expression
"You haven't seen her work?" he asked Manik who nodded a no
"Manik please tell me you know who Nandini is?" he asked again and Manik frowned in confusion
"Tujhe nahi pata" Cabir asked in disbelief
"Manik Nandini is a well known storyboard artists in the industry, in fact she is very famous amongst the professionals for her sketching work" Cabir told him and Manik looked at him in disbelief
Before Cabir could continue Manik gave back the sketch to him and walked out of there
He came out of the set and saw Ahem and Nandini talking at the same tapri. He walked towards them and held Nandini's arm
"I need to talk" he said taking her with him as Nandini said Ahem she will be right back
"Tum ek storyboard artist ho?" Manik asked taking her at the place where the cars were parked
"Haan" Nandini said removing her hand from his hold and rubbing his grip
"Mujhe kyu nahi pata?" he asked in disbelief
"Tumne kabhi pucha nahi Manik" she said making a pout
"Arey par tumhe batana chahiye na" he countered
"Kabhi jarurat nahi padi" Nandini shrug
"No, you are famous and I don't know" he retorted
"Manik mein famous nahi hu" she said
"Oh my God! Nandini!" they turned to see Arjun, one of the other lead of the show getting out of the car
"How are you?" he said hugging Nandini as Manik gave her a look
"Long time yaar" Arjun said
"Hi Arjun" she said getting out of the hug
"Hi Manik" he greeted Manik
