UPDATE: BigHit Entertainment give statement denying dating rumors of BTS Rap Monster.
BTS' label, BigHit Entertainment, has released an official statement in response to the dating scandal surrounding BTS member, Rap Monster.
According to a BigHit representative, "We've confronted Rap Monster on the dating allegations with Lee JungMi. [He stated that] He has no ties with Lee JungMi and has no relationship with her beyond being a fan of her book."
In response to the leaked pictures of Rap Monster visiting the Daeo Bookstore often, the BigHit representative says, "The Daeo Bookstore is a historical landmark and a tourist attraction. It is visited by many people. BTS Leader, Rap Monster, visits this bookstore occasionally in his free time. These pictures taken of him during his personal time outside of work are a violation of his privacy."
The statement from the BigHit representative also issued an apology to the author Lee JungMi, who was on the other end of the scandal and goes on to say, "These rumors are built on baseless allegations. Both individuals visit the Daeo Bookstore and Ttukseom Han River Park in their own time, respectively. They may have bumped into each other, but have no romantic ties with each other."

UPDATE: Representatives of author Lee JungMi deny dating allegations with BTS leader Rap Monster.
Last month, dating rumors sparked about a BTS member dating a non-celebrity after Dispatch revealed pictures of the couple visiting the same places separately. It was later revealed that the BTS member Rap Monster was spotted with bestselling author, Lee JungMi.
Now, a representative of the author Lee JungMi has released a statement regarding the dating allegations with the Billboard Music Award winner.
According to a representative of Lee JungMi, "JungMi has denied the rumors with BTS Rap Monster. She is nothing but a fan of his music and will continue to support BTS."
Lee was often spotted waiting in the Daeo Bookstore. Dispatch claimed that she was waiting for the BTS leader to arrive. Lee's representative explains, "JungMi regularly visits the bookstore and had a book signing event there not too long ago. It is unsure if Rap Monster of BTS appeared at Lee's book signing event in September 2016. Many readers came to the event and Lee saw many faces and heard many names throughout the event. Both individuals visiting the Daeo Bookstore at the same time would be a coincidence."
Rap Monster's label, BigHit Entertainment, recently denied the dating rumors as well with a statement from a label representative.
