Sean's POV
I pulled up to Ralph's, this grocery store near my house. Julian and Josh were coming over later and we were going to have a sleepover so I decided to grab some things to cook for them. I went inside and pulled out a cart. I put a few items in and I went into the sauces and soups section. There was this recipe that I couldn't perfect and I keep looking out for different sauces. I spotted the sriracha isle and I couldn't choose between the spicy one and the extra spicy one.
"Who takes this long to choose between spicy and extra spicy sriracha?" A voice asked me. I turned to the voice and saw a brunette looking at me amused.
"Well it changes the flavour profile drastically of any dish." I replied
"You know your food so I guess more power to you."
Without thinking I tell her "Yeah well I like cooking so I guess you could say that. But I can't seem to perfect this recipe I've been working on."
"Hmm. Well maybe I can help you. What are you cooking?" she asks me
"Well Chicken Parmesan basically. But I tried taking it up a notch that's why I want a good sauce but I can't seem to choose."
"Okay. Well knowing chicken, people don't really use sriracha," she says leaning over to grab the salsa "but in my experience, Salsa mixed with a little bit of Habenero sauce makes a great dressing."
"Salsa and Habenero sauce? why didn't I think of that?" I ask. "Thank you. Really this helps a lot." I tell her.
"Your welcome. Glad I could help." She tells me and walked away.
I put a couple of more items and proceed to pay for my items. then I grab all my things and put them in my car. I drive home and start getting ready for the boys to arrive. After a while I hear the doorbell ring. I go and open the door to reveal the one and only Josh Price and Julian DeGuzman.
"Hey guys come on in." I greet them.
"Hey Seanie." Josh says ruffling my hair. I swat his hand away. I absolutely hate it when he does that.
"Hmmm. Smells great in here." Julian says coming in.
They drop their things in my room and I serve up some food. We go to the couch and put on some friends, my all-time favorite show (AN: I wonder who else likes this show?? *smiles mischievously*) We eat our food and Josh exclaims "YO!!! This is great Sean. You finally got it right!!"
"Yeah Sean this tastes amazing what did you put in it?" Julian asks me.
"Salsa and Habenero Sauce." I tell them. "But the craziest thing happened at the store today though." And then I tell them all about the petite brunette that I met at the store.
"Yo that's weird, you know that right." Josh tells me.
" Yeah I agree with him Sean. Who just walks up to someone and asks them about Sriracha sauce?" Julian tells me.
"I don't know. But I probably won't see her again anyway." I tell them and we continue eating.
After we ate, we cleaned up and went swimming in my backyard. Currently, we are just sitting on my bed and chilling out. Some rap song was blaring on my speakers.
"Are you guys nervous for tomorrow?" Julian asks us.
Tomorrow was the auditions for A-troupe. Basically, it was a team that competed at most competitions and it gave dancers exposure to build their careers. We have been part of A-troupe for 2 years now and the studio is basically our second home. We love dancing there and the team is like this HUGE family.
"Not really. I mean we have been part of The Next Step for soo long now." Josh tells him
"Yeah to be honest its kinda boring with all the same people on the team except for the one or two dancers who keep changing." I tell them.
"I know. But I don't think there will be any changes considering we are going to Regionals this year." Julian says.
(AN: Regionals is a competion A-troupe goes to. If you watch season 1 you'll understand it better)
"Yeah and I don't think Tati will like it either way." Josh says rolling his eyes.
"Guys don't be rude." You see, Tati is my girlfriend. Well was my girlfriend and then is my girlfriend and then again was my girlfriend. Our relationship is complicated but we make it work. She's our dance captain and she takes her job seriously. REALLY seriously.
"Come on dude, you guys have been in an on-off relationship for soo damn long. And we all know that you have been the one being left behind. Why don't you end things Sean?" Julian asks me
"I don't know Ju. Its complicated alright? I tried to but we always get back together." I tell him putting my head in between my hands.
Sighing I tell them. "You know what this is a new year. And an important one. I'm not gonna let Tati ruin it for me. I'm gonna break up with her. Once and for all." I tell them
"Yes!! That's the spirit. Now come on lets stop acting like girls at sleepovers and watch a movie." Josh says and grabs the remote from my nightstand.
Chuckling we get comfortable and get ready to watch the movie. I look over to my friends. What would I do without them.
AN: Another Chapter Y'all!!!!!! I hope you guys liked this chapter. I have this schedule of one day one chapter just because of all the free time I have due to the pandemic that the world is facing right now. It's really scary what's happening and I hope and pray that all of you guys and your families are safe and healthy and are taking all the necessary measures for protecting yourself and others from the Coronavirus. If any of you guys want someone to talk to I'm always here.😊😊😅
As you can tell this is where i infused The Next Step into the story. I have a great idea for what's going to happen next and I can't wait to write it tomorrow. But tell me what you guys think about the story so far. Also Tati and Sean??? Thoughts???
