The ladies of the pack arrived and my heart sank when they looked pissed off

The warriors always hated me but those ladies loved me very much and pampered me like my mom does. I always did things for them because they were always kind

I'm sorry alpha Zane but they are against Abel staying in this pack because they've always been jealous of him! After all, he's everything they aren't" She said and I froze at that

Abe barked in joy at the praises while I bit my lips

The warriors looked really ashamed and were looking down

"Alpha, as a punishment, I think you should exile them for a week from this pack! They would then know that it's not easy to not form part of a pack anymore! They would realise how painful it is to be cast out, to be hated like they hate Abel!" Another man- a father to be precise said

Abe exclaimed and I smiled

"You're right but I won't do that.  My duty as the alpha is to ensure the safety of my pack members. I can't do that to those immature brats. I hope you guys learn your lesson. As a punishment, the warriors are gonna go from house to house to clean the pack. And last of all, you're going to beg for Abel's forgiveness" Alpha Zane said loudly and I stiffened

When everyone turned toward me, I gulped and rubbed my neck

"Um.. It's okay, you don't eh, you don't have to" I said awkwardly

A forced apology has no meaning to me

"We're sorry, beta Abel" they said in unison and I felt a pang in my chest
