After Alessandro told me everything, I was a bit shaken at what I was told

Why did my life had to be so difficult?

I felt a warm hand around my waist and I looked up to see a frowning Alexander

"Don't be scared, we won't let anything happen to you" He said confidently and I smiled shyly

Alessandro suddenly froze, staring at me with a weird expression making me frown

"What?" I asked in confusion and Alessandro blinked

"Nothing" He said quickly, taking a step back

"You know something more, don't you?" I asked hesitantly and he sighed

"Enemies can become a good friend and our saviour when we really try to understand them. People's words about others aren't always the truth and rumours are just theories. Don't worry, you'll be absolutely fine. I trust my dragon, Alaric, I trust him more than anyone." He mumbled before walking towards the kitchen, leaving me confused

I sighed and shook my head

I have no choice but to trust him

Abel was right, Alessandro was just like a little kid who didn't have the best childhood

When I turned around, I saw that Abe was still here, his tongue out

"Come on mate, let's go!" He said excitedly, wagging his tail and I laughed

We both walked to the kitchen and I saw Alessandro stare at Abel dreamily while Abel was removing the pancakes I made for Alessandro

Alessandro looked more interested in Abel than the food

That didn't bother me.

He looked rather cute.

I leaned against the wall and when Abel placed the pancake in front of Alessandro, Alessandro took one of the pancake making Abel slap his hand

"What are you doing? You have to cut everything and also, there's syrup and chocolate" Abel said and my heart fluttered when I saw a pink blush on Alessandro's cheeks

"shut up Glaedr, don't laugh" He mumbled and I smiled in amusement

So cute!

Those two were really a great duo.

"It's your first time eating pancakes?" I asked and Alessandro nodded at me

"And also syrup.. Um, and Chocolate" Alessandro trailed making both Abel and I gasp dramatically

"You've never eaten chocolates before!??" We both exclaimed in shock and Alessandro bit his lips, shaking his head

"Vampires don't eat sweet things so, I've never been given any sweet to eat. There was nothing like that in the Palace. This is the first time I'm having pancake, so, thank you" Alessandro said

We usually ate toast/eggs/sausage for breakfast. I've never made pancake or waffles until now

I also never made chocolate cake before

I sighed and smiled at him

"It's okay, we're here now, right? I like when you tell us what you feel instead of acting cold and tough. I hate that attitude" I said and Alessandro rubbed his neck

"Yeah, sorry about that. It's not like I didn't want to share thing. My dragon told me that when he went dormant, my emotions were taken away because well, without Glaedr, I'm not complete. Now though, with the mate bond and because my dragon keep burning me, I am being forced to talk" He complained angrily before wincing, clenching his fist tightly
