I buried my face on my lap, sighing in boredom.

I was here for like hours now and I didn't know what time it was.

I heard a knock and the door opened slightly, revealing a cute boy peeking at me. He hesitantly pushed the door and entered inside, smiling adorably.

The boy with sky blue eyes and brown hair looked taller than me.

"Hi, I'm Niles. I'm here to bring you for dinner" He whispered nervously and I stared at him curiously

"You're the King's partner?" I asked and he turned red. He quickly shook his head, looking at me with wide eyes

"What, no! Don't say that, someone might hear you! A mere human like me will never be his partner" He whispered, looking around nervously

"You're probably here because he took an interest in you. He doesn't need me I guess...I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up" He whispered sadly before shaking his head

"No, I didn't say anything! I'm sorry!" He squeaked, slapping his hand on his mouth

I giggled at his embarrassment, shaking my head

"Don't worry Niles, I'm not here to take your place! I have two mates and well, I'm fond of them" I said and he sighed in relief

"Come on, let's go! The king will get angry if we don't get there soon" He said and I nodded

I walked towards him and held his hand making him shriek at the shock before looking at me with pink cheeks

"W-what are you doing?" He whispered in embarrassment and I giggled, pecking his chubby red cheeks

His voice wasn't as feminine as I expected but not that manly either. It was just soft.

"You're really cute, Niles! Come on, let's go" I said and he nodded

While walking, I asked him questions about this place which he answered eagerly, as if this place was a heaven to him

However, he didn't know the reason for my presence. He didn't know why the King needed me.

He just said that the King won't hurt me because he isn't a bad man.

"What's his name?" I asked

"King Lussiando" He said and I froze on the spot

"What?" I exclaimed and Niles looked at me in confusion

"Do you know him?" Niles asked and I nodded

"I was just told that he was a bad guy" I said and he pouted

"He isn't a bad man, he's really sweet when he wants to be, you know? He wished me happy birthday and bought me a cake last year. That was when we hadn't even started to sleep-!!!" Niles said excitedly before freezing at the end making me smirk

Niles slapped his hands on his face, peeking at me through his fingers

"You're really cute, Niles, so adorable" I complimented and I could see his ears turning red

"Oh, you sure blush a lot!" I teased making him giggle, giving me a silly smile

"What's going on here?" A deep, cold voice said and Niles froze
