In the evening, the guests started coming and to Bela's surprise Maahir had invited Kuhu and Rohit for the sangeet and when Bela met Kuhu after so long, she was really very happy. They hugged each other and Kuhu introduced Bela to Rohit and then Bela said, "I'm so happy that you've come Kuhu aur maine jabse tumhaari pregnancy ki baat suni hai, I'm double happy aur sabse zyaada khush to Bulbul hai. Thank you so much ke mere absence mein tumne bhi Bulbul ka bohot khayaal rakkha hai." Kuhu replied, "To Bulbul meri bhi to kuch lagti hai na aur vaise hai kaha vo, arsa ho gaya usko dekhe huye." Bela replied, "Hogi kahi na kahi par, apna khuraafaati dimaag chalaate huye, kaise mere papa ko irritate kiya ja sake ya phir kahi beth kar kuch na kuch kha rahi hogi nehi to energy drain ho jaati hai na. Saying Bulbul again ran away and then returned with a bowl of dessert for Kuhu and she gave it to her and said, "Bua ye lo rasmalai, mere daddy ke jaisa nehi bana hai par phir bhi achcha hai, not that bad." Bela made a sarcastic smile and asked, "Aur tumne khud kitne khaaye hai beta?" Bulbul replied, "Itna tasty nehi hai na to maine sirf 3 khaaye." Rohit asked, "Bulbul mere liye kuch nehi laayi?" Bulbul narrowed her eyebrows and replied, "Mere liye brother-sister to Kuhu bua laayegi na to main aapko kyu khilaau?" Kuhu burst into laughter and teased Rohit and so Maahir took Rohit with him to the bar and then Bulbul also left from there to enjoy the sangeet. Kuhu then held Bela's hand and asked, "To kaisi ho tum? Aur tumne jaane se pehle mujhe bhi apni pregnancy ke baare mein nehi bataya?" Bela replied, "Main bataana chahti thi par main chahti thi ke sabse pehle Maahir ko batau par uska to mauka hi nehi mila. Tum to zarur mujhse bohot gussa hogi na kyuki maine Maahir ko chod diya tha." Kuhu left Bela's hand and replied, "Agar tum mere baare mein aisa sochti ho to main kahungi ke tum mujhe aajtak samajh hi nehi paayi ho. Maahir mera best friend hai jisey main bhai ki tarah maanti hu lekin ye bhi sach hai main uske taraf kabhi biased nehi thi. On the other side, Rohit and Maahir were having drinks when Rohit asked, "How are you?" In reply, Maahir took a sip and asked, "What do you mean by how am I?" Rohit replied, "Matlab tum kaise ho? Kaisa chal raha hai sab kuch?" Maahir replied, "Puch to aise rahe ho jaise aaj pata nehi kitne mahino baad mil rahe hai." Rohit chuckled and replied, "Ha vo baat thik hai but you know what jamai hone ki jo khaatirdaari tumhe is ghar mein milti hai vo har kisi ke kismat mein nehi hoti hai na. Kasam se kismat lekar aaye ho ekdam bandhwa kar rakhne waali." Maahir agreed and replied, "Ha vo to hai, bas beti meri sab par bhaari hai. Usike liye to jhel raha hu sab kuch." Rohit said to Maahir, "Vaise ek news maine tumhe nehi di hai, vo ye hai ke Anu apne papa ko lekar unke check up ke liye London gayi thi ab vo waapas aa gayi hai par abhi tak humne usko ye nehi bataya hai ke tum abhi sasural mein ho par zyaada din chupa nehi sakenge to tum extra ye waale bawaal ke liye ready rehna." Maahir replied, "Meri to puri zindagi hi bawaal bani hui hai aur extra kya aayega." Suddenly Rohit's phone started ringing and on receiving the call he got to know that his mother was sick and he had to go to his paternal home as soon as possible. When he informed the same to Kuhu, she wanted to come too but Rohit didn't take her as the journey might affect the health of her and their babies and so he left from their alone with the arrangement that Maahir would be dropping Kuhu home.
