He disconnected the call and stepped inside his office building. At first, he went to the receptionist and asked her to call all the staffs over intercom to the reception within five minutes as he has some important announcements to make. Within five minutes, all the staffs arrived and Maahir stood up on the stair case so that he can see everyone clearly and then said to them, "Aaj main aap sabse apni life ki sabse important khushi share karna chahta hu kyuki aap log meri family ke tarah hi hai aur iske saath saath main ek bohot important decision bhi sunaana chahta hu. All the staffs started murmering as everyone knew he was going to be engaged to Anu and seeing that Maahir playfully replied, "Don't worry aap log jaisa soch rahe hai aisa kuch nehi hai. On hearing this, all the staffs started clapping and applauded Maahir. Maahir then found a man making a very confused face and seeing that he raised his hand in an assuring manner and said,"Mr HR Manager aapko fikar karne ki koi zarurat nehi hai. Is company mein mere 50% shares hai usme jo har saal company ke munaafe mein jo mujhe milta hai usme se jaayega." The manager gave an awkward smile and then Maahir dismissed the meeting and then found Kuhu and Rohit standing at the corner staring at him. He went to them and asked,"Kya hua aise ghur kyu rahe ho?" Rohit casually asked, "Shekhar uncle ko pata chalega to kya hoga pata hai na?" Maahir shook his shoulder and replied, "Kya hoga kuch bhi nehi aur hona kya hai, company ka main 50% maalik hu. I know Mr. Mittal ne is company ko finance kiya hai lekin ye aaj jis position par hai vo meri mehnat ke vajah se hai. Chahe ghamandi kaho ya kuch bhi lekin mere bina KINGSTON ka koi vajood hi nehi hai aur ye baat Mr. Mittal bohot achchi tarah se jaante hai." Kuhu replied,"Aur ye baat tumhe to pata hai na ke Mittal uncle ne tumhe 50% partnership kyu di hai? Anu ke vajah se kyuki tum Anu se shaadi karne waale ho." Maahir was fed up of these same things which Kuhu explained him everytime about his present relationship with Anu and so he said, "Main jaanta hu aur baar baar ek hi baat yu dohraane ki koi zarurat nehi hai Kuhu. Kuhu angrily said, "Mujhe bhi ek hi baate dohraane ka koi shaukh nehi hai, par vo kya hai na mujhe tumhe lagaataar reality check dena parta hai kyuki tum bhul jaate ho na. Main bohot achchi tarah se samajh rahi hu ke Bulbul ke baare mein jaanne ke baad se tum kitne bare kashmakash se jujh rahe ho isiliye main chahti hu ke tum wahi karo jo tumhe thik lagta hai, jo kuch bhi karo soch samajh kar karo and do it once and for all. Kuhu was in such an aggressive mood that day, which had not been seen either by Rohit or by Maahir for a very long time. Rohit put his hand on Kuhu's shoulder and said, "Kuhu I think... aaj ke liye bohot ho gaya hai tum usko..." Kuhu replied, "No its not okay Rohit!! Isko samajh mein nehi aa raha hai ke iske life mein kitna bara toofaan aane waala hai. Kalko Bulbul aayegi aur uske baad Bela bhi. Phir kya karega ye socha hai?" Maahir made a face and said to Rohit, "Apni Kuhu ko sambhaal le bhai paagal ho gayi hai ye to." Saying Maahir left from there and Rohit said to Kuhu, "Aaj thora zyaada bol diya hai Kuhu. I know you think for him but you know..." He stopped himself in the middle and replied,"Kya zarurat thi usko ye bonus announce karne ki? Reality se uska koi naata hi nehi hai iska. Main keh rahi hu Rohit, mila lena meri baato ko, bohot jald Maahir ke zindagi mein itna bara bhoochaal aayega na ke vo soch bhi nehi sakta hai abhi halke mein le raha hai na meri baato ko. Main bas itna chahti hu ke vo apne life ke baare mein thora soche aur seriously soche isse pehle ke is baar bachaane ke liye bhi kuch na bache." Saying she angrily left from there leaving Rohit all confused at her sudden change of behaviour.
