For many days, Maahir did not talk or meet with Bela as he needed to give time to everything after what happened with Ranjit but that behavior of him was upsetting Bela more and more as he had also stopped returning her calls. Bela thought and thought what might be the reason of his such confusing behavior and she did come to only one conclusion and so without wasting any more time, she headed straight way to Ranjit's office where he was busy in a meeting and Bela, without bothering about the situation went straight away inside and said, "I have some important personal business with my father, please excuse us!" Ranjit looked at Bela and replied, "Bela bohot important meeting chal rahi hai." Without looking at her father, Bela ordered the other members of the meeting, "This is my company and I'll be taking care of it in not so distant future so... start taking orders from your future boss." When Bela found that all the other staffs were just looking at each other and then at Ranjit, she yelled, "Now!!" Ranjit signaled them to leave from there and after they left, Ranjit said to Bela, "Tumhaari ma hamesha mujhse ye kehti hai ke maine tumhe spoil karke rakkha hua hai and I used to fight with her but now I see that tumhaari ma sahi kehti thi. Tum bigdi hui ho lekin tum kabhi bhi badtameez nehi thi. What is all these?" Bela folded her arms around her chest and asked, "Aapne Maahir se kya kaha?" At this question, Ranjit looked at her and she at him, both giving a straight look to each other and there was something in both their eyes that Ranjit realized Bela knows about his and Maahir's meeting and Bela too understood that whatever allegations she had made was correct and then Ranjit looked away from her and asked, "Maahir ne kuch kaha hai tumse?" Bela sat opposite of him and replied, "Jis tarah se aapke bina bole main ye samajh gayi hu ke maine jo kaha vo sach hai thik usi tarah Maahir ke bina bole main ye bhi samajh gayi hu ke aapne usse kuch kaha hai aur kuch aisa kaha hai jo shaayad aapko nehi kehna chahiye tha." Ranjit replied, "I just told him the truth aur usey ye sach janna chahiye ke mere aur uske haisiyat mein fark hai. You're a Sareen! Remember that!" Maahir replied, "Kya fark hai? Aapne ye company apne mehnat se banaya aur vo bhi aaj jaha par hai apni mehnat se khara hai. Aaj itne saalo ke mehnat ke baad aap yaha pohche hai, shaayad aapki umar mein aakar vo aapse aagey nikal jaaye aur dikkat kis baat ki hai aapko? Hum apna surname khud choose nehi karte hai par apna naam hum khud banaate hai. Do you know usey already aapke rival airline companies job offer kar chuke hai aur vo bhi salary jo vo chahe, itni reputation bana li hai usne apni. To ye naam ka dhaus aap kisko dikha rahe hai?" Ranjit was shocked when Bela talked with him like that and thought how much Bela had changed since Maahir came into her life and he said, "I can't believe it! Mujhe yakeen nehi aa raha hai ke meri beti mujhse is tarah se baate kar sakti hai. Pehle tum mere liye ladti thi aur aaj kal mujhse ladti ho aur vo bhi uske liye jisey tumhaari zindagi mein aaye huye zyaada waqt bhi nehi hua." Bela knew how stubborn her father was as she herself got that stubbornness from her father and said, "Aap cheezo ko itna complicate kyu kar rahe hai papa? Maahir apni jagah hai aur aap apni jagah par, aap apne saath uski baraabari kyu kar rahe hai? Aap mere papa ho aur main Maahir se shaadi karna chahti hu and vo bhi yehi chahta hai aur pata nehi aapne usey aisa kya keh diya ke usne kitne dino se mujhse baat tak hi nehi ki hai." Ranjit smiled sarcastically and replied, "Agar vo tumse baat nehi kar raha hai to ye bohot achchi baat hai kyuki maine usey manaa kiya hai aur ye bhi kaha hai ke vo tumse dur rahe aur kya pata vo tumhaare saath ye pyar ka naatak kar raha hai tumhaari property ke liye because you're my only child." Bela was getting fed up with her father and his thinking and said, "Aap sabko ek jaisa kyu samajhte hai papa? Aapko to khush hona chahiye kyuki aapke manaa karne ke vajah se usne mujhse koi contact nehi rakkha itni izzat deta hai vo aapko. Aapko paisewaala damaad chahiye lekin aisa nehi chahiye jo aapki beti se pyar karta ho aur thik vaise hi mere saare nakhre uthaata hai jis tarah se aap uthaate aaye hai. Khair!! Mujhe aapse abhi baat hi nehi karni hai coz it'll be of no use!" Saying Bela was about to leave when Ranjit said, "I'm never going to accept this relationship, no matter what you do." Bela too in that same manner said, "Main bhi aaphiki beti hu papa, shaadi karungi to sirf Maahir se karungi bhale hi isme aapki marzi ho ya na ho. Bye!!" Bela just left from there leaving behind a disappointed father.
