[ CANADA ]

Bulbul returned the phone at Madhu's room and was crying like anything most of the night and fell asleep at almost the dead of the night. When Madhu came to wake her up, she called her many times but Bulbul was almost dead asleep and so she didn't have the heart to wake her up. At the dining table when Bulbul didn't come to have food, Bela enquired about her and Madhu told her that she was sleeping like a dog and she didn't have the heart to wake her up. Bela was a bit tensed since that never happened to her until and unless she was sick. So she rushed to her room and found Bulbul was sleeping. Bela walked upto her silently and then touched her head and found that she was slightly feverish. Madhu, who was waiting at the door step asked,"Kya hua?" Bela turned towards her and replied,"Kuch nehi halka halka temperature hai. Abhi isko sone dete hai aur school jaane ki koi zarurat nehi hai. Jab vo uth jaaye to usko please naastha kara dena. Main chalti hu." Her eyes fall on her tab that she gave to Bulbul yesterday and then took it from there. Madhu said,"Agar koi dusri ma hoti na to aaj office jaane ke baare mein sochti bhi nehi par tu to...I'm not judging you Bela because tere papa hi nehi maanenge. Don't worry I'll take care of her." Bela knew she should have stayed but her official commitments didn't allow her and so she bend down and kissed on Bulbul's forehead and left from there with a heavy heart. After an hour or two, Madhu felt that she should go and wake Bulbul up since it was getting late and she should not stay empty stomach for that long so she took one plate of food and then went to Bulbul's room. On getting there, she found that Bulbul had already woke up and was sitting sadly on the bed and Madhu on seeing her like that asked,"Ki hoya puttar? Aisi shakal bana kar kyu bethi hai?" Bulbul, on seeing Madhu could not hold back her tears and climbed up on her knees and hugged her and started crying. Madhu was tensed and she could not figure out why she was criying like that and she asked,"Kya hua kya hai tu aise ro kyu rahi hai? Teri ma ne kuch kaha?" She broke the hug and said to Bulbul,"Bulbul mujhe saaf saaf bata agar teri ma ne kuch kaha hai na to main uski khabar lungi. Haaye meri bachchi ko itna daata ke uski tabiyat hi kharaab ho gayi." Though Madhu was saying all those things but she knew that Bulbul was not that kind of girl who would easily digest any scolding or insult that easily without avenging it when it comes from anyone except her mother but she was both confused and worried as Bulbul got figure which meant that something very serious had happened. Madhu made her sit back on the bed and said,"Bulbul bohot serious kuch hua hai na varna daat ke vajah se aise rone waali larki to tu hai nehi. Bata mujhe kya hua?" Bulbul told her everything about how she came to know about her father and also about her last night's adventure with Maahir. Madhu slapped on her forehead and said,"Satyaanaash! Bulbul tune itna bara kaand kar liya puttar aur tujhe nehi lagta ke tujhe mujhe ek baar batana chahiye tha ya mujhse puch hi leti. Tenu pata hai ke agar teri ma ya tere Dracula ko is baat ki bhanak bhi pari na hungama ho jaana hai ghar mein." Bulbul wiped her tears and replied,"Maine kaunsa aajtak koi bhi kaam kisi se puch kar kiya hai. Main to hamesha hi sab kuch apni marzi ka karti hu aur maine aapke phone se phone kiya tha, mamma ko kabhi pata nehi chalega." Madhu patted on Bulbul's head and replied,"Main jaanti hu par aise achaanak se tujhe usko aise phone nehi karna chahiye tha. Mujhe bolti main baat karti usse." Bulbul made an angry face and said,"Par main daddy se ab phir kabhi baat nehi karungi. Unhone mujhse bohot buri tareeke se baat ki hai. Thik hai, unhone mujhe dekha nehi, mujhse miley nehi par jab maine unko kaha ke main Bulbul hu aur vo mere daddy hai, unhone yakeen hi nehi kiya. Unko laga main jhut bol rahi hu aur mazaak kar rahi hu." Madhu closed her eyes as she realized that it was time for her to disclose the ultimate truth to Bulbul and so she said,"Maahir ki isme koi galti nehi hai beta kyuki usko tere baare mein kuch bhi nehi pata hai. Tu to paida bhi nehi hui thi jab hum sab Canada aa gaye. Teri ma ne tere daddy ko kuch nehi bataya tere baare mein, naahi tere janam se pehle aur naahi tere janam ke baad. Tujhe kya lagta hai agar Maahir ko tere baare mein ek information bhi hoti to vo tujhe yaha rehne deta? Kabhi bhi nehi. Galti meri bhi hai isme ke maine bhi kuch nehi bataya usko kyuki...tujhe to samjha bhi nehi sakti puttar ke us dauraan hamaari situation kaisi thi." She took a deep breath and said,"Isiliye main tujhe keh rahi thi ke tujhe pehle uski baat mujhse karwaani chahiye thi to vo teri baat par yakeen zarur karta." Bulbul replied, "Mujhe pata hai naani, mamma ne kal mujhe bataya tha ke unhone daddy ko mere baare mein kuch bhi nehi bataya par jab maine kaha aise to unhone meri baat tak nehi suni. Mamma ka to chalo pata hai, mamma gussa hai lein aapne kyu nehi bola?" Madhu pulled Bulbul towards her and replied,"Maine kaha na puttar tu abhi itni choti hai ke main tujhe thik se samjha bhi nehi sakti hu ke tere janam se pehle ka time hamaare liye kitna mushkil tha khaaskar teri ma ke liye. Ek to life mein vaise hi itna bara siyappa chal raha hai aur aise mein tune achaanak se jaakar usko phone kar liya. Agar tu aise bolegi ke aap mere daddy ho to vo kya koi bhi yakeen nehi karega." Bulbul became very sad and said,"Ab main daddy se kaise milungi aur kaise mamma aur daddy ko saath mein karungi?" Madhu, in order to cheer her up and said,"To aise haar nehi maan sakti hai beta, kyuki tu hi vo kadi hai jo apne ma baap ko mila sakti hai kyuki vo dono ek dusre ke bina adhure hai. Teri ma hasti hai lekin vo khush nehi hai jo vo Maahir ke saath rehne par hoti hai. Ek din mein jung nehi jeeti ja sakti hai tujhe iske liye bohot mehnat karni paregi. Tujhe 8 saal ki ye dooriyaan khatam karni hai aur aise achche kaam ke liye agar tedha sochna pare aur tedha kaam karna pare to kabhi peeche mat hatna. After all, main to tujhe jaanti hu tu ainvayi haar manne waalo mein se to hai hi nehi. Main tujhe kehti hu tujhe jo karna hai, jaise karna hai hai vaise hi karna kyuki tu isi mein expert hai." Bulbul had a smile on her face and she said,"To aise bolo na naani ke 'Be Bulbul!' Usme to main bilkul expert hu." Madhu held a spoonful of food in front of Bulbul's mouth and said,"Lekin uske liye to achche se khaana parega, kyuki khaana andar nehi jaayega to Bulbul ke dimaag mein ideas nehi aayenge. Dekh isiliye maine tere liye chole kulche banaaye hai, bas mamma ko mat kehna apne, ye maine tere liye banaya hai." Bulbul became very happy and had her food.
