Slipping my cap and gown on over my dress, I couldn't help but feel nervous

Slipping my cap and gown on over my dress, I couldn't help but feel nervous. I was officially graduating highschool today and becoming a full fledged adult. It was nerve wracking.
Pinning my cap in place, I slipped on my flats, to afraid of falling on my face to wear heels, and made my way downstairs where my parents were waiting. The guys and my mates were meeting us at the school seeing as my parents wanted to have this morning to ourselves.
"Oh honey..." Mom cried as she flew forward to hug me. Smiling, we broke the hug as dad cleared his throat.
"We are so proud of you sweetheart. You have come so far and we are so incredibly happy that you've allowed us to be apart of your life." He smiled as his eyes filled with tears before pulling me into a hug.
This went on for ten minutes before I realized we had to go or we'd be late. Ushering us into the car, my dad sped all the way to La Push Highschool.

"Dad!" I laughed as he came to a screeching holt.

"What? He smirked. "Its not like anyone can say anything, seeing as I'm the sheriff." You heard right, my dad Sam Uley is the new chief of police. After the death of Bella, Charlie had a mental breakdown and was locked up in an institute and so my dad quickly took on the job. Thanks to him the crime rate has gone down by at least twenty percent. Not like there was much to begin with but still.

After the battle two years, the entire right side of my body was completely crushed and I was forced to stay in bed for what felt like months. Of course my dad loved this, as it meant I couldn't leave the house. He is still the same overprotective father he's always been, as for Paul and Jessica, they're doing amazing.

Paul and Jake actually opened up a mechanic repair shop, which is awesome since Forks and La Push didn't have one, meaning everyone had to drive three hours away just to get to one. And Jessica is still the same over achiever, being top of her class, and being head cheerleader at her college was something she was extremely proud of. But what she didn't expect when enrolling was that she already had most of the credits she needed from all those extra lessons and classes she took back in highschool, which means in six months Jessica will have a college degree in teaching math and will be moving back home with a promise of a teaching job at La Push's Junior Highschool.

Mom and dad haven't had the chance to get married yet but that's about to change because in three weeks, she'll no longer be Emily Young but Emily Uley. Everyone is excited, even Leah, who as it turns out, is a lesbian.

Leah finally found her mate in the form of this adorable 20 year old girl with baby blue eyes and blonde hair named Sierra Jackson. Sierra is exactly what my furry friend needed to cool her down and keep her sane. Funny thing is, that Sierra was actually dating Embry when they met. It was riot watching Leah tackle Embry to the ground for touching her little mate, as she had called the tiny blonde.

Embry eventually  got over it though when he met Sierra's brother Michael. Turns out he was gay.

As for me, Jacob, Edward and I are completely inseparable. After the wedding, the three of us plan to leave Forks and La Push and go up north, possibly Canada. Just for a few weeks though, we thought it was best as we barely had any alone time between our families. Of course this news did not sit well with my brother or my dad but after their Imprints scolded them for being to overprotective, they finally caved and agreed not to hunt us down and bring us back. I actually decide to wait on going to college as I didn't feel it was necessary at the moment to go to yet another school for four more years.

"Lexi!" Lilia, Quil's cousin, called out as she ran up to me. Hugging me briefly she ranted about me always being late and dragged me away from my laughing parents.

"Slow down speed demon!" Giggled as she was practically running.

"Well I wouldn't need to be a 'Speed Demon' as you out it, if you actually showed up on time for once." Lilia laughed.

Skipping the Graduation Ceremony....

Rushing out to the parking lot where my family and mates were waiting I couldn't help the smile that broke out on my face. I did it! I actually did it! Jumping into Jake and Edward's awaiting arms was pure and utter bliss.

"Congrats love!" Jake laughed spinning me around before Ed snatched me up.

"We are so proud of you Lexi." Edward smiled as they both kissed my cheeks. Even after all this time, their kisses still make me blush.

"Okay back off, I want to congratulate my sister thank you very much." Paul smirked as he pushed the two out of his way. "Congratulations little sister." He whispered in my hair as he hugged me.

"Okay, can we please get a move on!? I want cake!" Seth whined. Laughing, I ruffled his hair as glared at me playfully. "Just because I still have a year left, doesn't mean I'm a baby."

"That cute pout says otherwise." I teased him.

"Alright," Dad butted in. "Let's go."

Everything was falling into place, and I couldn't be happier.....

If only I knew then what was waiting for me just around the corner, maybe I could have stayed that way.....
