Hey girls! As you might've guest by the title of this post, I've decided to write yet again about models who are not just beautiful, but unique. As women, I find that there is this unspoken rule that we have to look our best all the time. Outward beauty is much fussed about with people getting nose jobs, implants and face lifts, but while it can have its benefits, maybe one should truly reflect on their own self-esteem and thoughts on true beauty before doing something drastic like going under the knife. That being said, I hope you enjoy learning about these beauties and what they have to offer!

Represented by an international modelling agency by the name of IGM Models, Mercado challenges the fashion industry's image of beauty by being one of the rare models in wheelchairs. She has a disability called muscular dystrophy (or 'MD' for short), which consist of the weakening and eventual breakdown of skeletal muscles over a long period of time (thank you Google for providing me with the info). Seen here sporting Beyonce's merch for her 2016 Formation world tour, Mercado constantly fight for more representation of individuals with disabilities in the fashion industry and I absolutely love how she' succeeding in her cause!

Born with a facial cleft and deformed nose airways, this German model had begun her career by posing for some of her photographer friends and has since then gained popularity worldwide for her unique facial features and breathtaking pictures. She always tell people that everybody is beautiful and I admire her for being so out there!

Best known for their work as gender-nonconforming model, Dove enjoys posing in female clothing just as much as male clothing and has even been named one of Elle Magazine's 12 Women Who Are Redefining Beauty in 2015. Born a female, they always had a larger physique than other girls, which made it easy for them to work as a Colorado Firefighter as "a male". Recognizing her androgynous features, Dove doesn't care much if people perceive her as a female or male and accepts any pronouns concerning themselves. They are one of my favorite models for this!
