Chapter 20

As Aizawa looked around at the chattering hero's that were giving him a migraine, he just wanted to curl up inside his yellow sleeping bag and take a nap. His attempts to sleep beforehand had failed, so now he felt like crap. Nobody seemed to notice, though. It was probably a normal thing at that point. The whole building was bustling with activity. Along one of the walls hero's were laying out objects they needed to activate their quirk. In the upper right hand corner, Power Loader was helping people equip support items. Everyone was doing something. Except him. He was standing up against a wall, watching Endeavor boss people around in the middle of the large warehouse. There wasn't much more they could do at that point. Almost all of the preparations were made, and everyone seemed confident that pro hero's (and the police force who were coming along as support) could take care of the ten or so members of the League of Villains. A little too confident for his taste. None of them had fought the League before. They were skilled, and underestimating them meant death. Of course, they'd explained this, but he didn't know if it would be too effective. He was about to look down at his watch to check the time, but before he could, Endeavor yelled at the top of his lungs. "8:30! We'll be heading out shortly! Everyone remember your positions! Keep your ground!"

Jeez! He was almost the complete opposite of his son, who usually didn't talk in much.

After that, the whole room seemed to get more chaotic. Hero's running around doing last minute checks on equipment, the sound of paper crumpling as they made sure they knew their spot on the map. It was easy for Eraser Head. He was right in the front next to Endeavor, Mt. Lady, Midnight and Best Jeanist. That group was already gathered near the exit.

"It's almost time." Midnight said when he walked over. "The suspense is killing me!"

The last 20 minutes before they headed out seemed to go by in 5 seconds. All of the pro hero's got into position, and waited for Endeavor to give the orders.

"As we all know, the League of Villains is definitely in the facility. Yesterday we went out a hero with a stealth quirk and confirmed our suspicions. They never saw Izuku, but they did see that the League is definitely on the premises. So be ready. Okay! Let's get moving!"

And with that, everyone started to shuffled out of the doors on their way to meet the League of Villains.

The wind swept through Aizawas hair and he walked along the cracked, unused pavement. The were about a quarter of a mile away from their target, and everyone had been warned to be completely silent. It was kind of hard though, as there were thirty hero's plus the forty officers walking. He could only hope that they didn't hear all of their footsteps. As they quickly got closer, he could feel dread creeping into his stomach of what he might hear. It was one thing to know about the screaming. It was another thing to hear it.

"There it is." Best Jeanist whispered as they approached a building that looked almost identical to the other ones surrounding it. It was tall and made of somewhat flimsy metal, with torn and faded posters stuck to the walls. There weren't any windows, and he could only spot 2 heavy metal doors from there. The roof was scratched and dented, but it didn't seem to have any holes. The outside was littered with trash and scrap metal that reflected the moonlight eerily.

"Everyone get in your positions." He whispered. "Remember the plan."

He knew the plan by heart by then. It was somewhat easy on his part. He was in the leading group, so all they had to do was bust in and asses what they came across. It sounded easy, but he knew that there had to be some sort of twist. Nothing ever went smoothly when the League was involved. And that became evident when the first pushed their way through the doors, and were met with Shigiraki, Twice, Toga, Kurogiri and Mr. Compress sitting across the room like they'd been expecting them.
