Chapter 8

All Might watched his heir walk off with his friends, and couldn't help worrying. He'd seemed different. More... angry. It unsettled him more that the blood did. He was getting a bad feeling. He glanced over at Eraser Head, and the look on his face said what he was thinking. This wasn't over. Yet something covered his thoughts. He couldn't quite figure out why he was feeling like this. Was it just worry for Young Midoriyas safety? He'd seen him in much worse states, with his quirk being One for All, before Midoriya had learned to use it correctly, he'd broken his bones whenever he'd used it. A little blood was almost nothing. But still...

Aizawa said something and brought him out of his thoughts. "You should talk to Recovery Girl. He's your heir after all."

"R-right." He said. He watched Eraser Head walk away, probably to go take a nap, then walked into the nurses office.

"Ah, All Might." Recovery Girl said as if she expected him. "I'm guessing you're here about Midoriya?"

"Yes. What exactly happened?" He asked.

"Well, Im in here preparing this bed, just in case, when Eraser Head burst through the door with Midoriya. I thought he'd used his quirk too much again, and was going to say something, when I see he only had blood on him. So I look him over, and I figure out that he had too much blood in his stomach. Like I explained to Eraser, all he needs is rest and to cough the rest of it up. I know how you feel." She said as he started to say something. "But that's the best thing right now. Now, it's almost 12, you should be getting to your classes."

"That was my only one for today." He said drearily. He hated not being able to do anything, but Recovery Girl was right. He just had to sit back and wait it out. "You should call his mother." He added.

"I already have." She said. "Now get along."

And so All Might left the nurses office.

As All Might unlocked the doors to his place a few hours later, he didn't know what he was feeling. The whole thing that had happened at UA was making him feel uneasy, but when he concentrated on it, he couldn't exactly tell why. It was like something was eating at the back of his mind but there was no reason. It was such a small insignificant event. That whole interaction had lasted, what, 10 minutes at most. Midoriya was fine, there was nothing he should be stressed about. But he couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong. Like the feeling he gets when he's forgotten something.

He sighed, his mind scrambled, and turned on the news. There wasn't much in it these days other than his retirement and the League of Villains situation, but as he flipped through the different stations, a story caught his eye.

League of Villains Member Spotted at UA High School

A lot of the stories were fake news. People pulling pranks or just false alarms. But the reason this one was interesting was because he actually recognized the girl in the photo. It was low quality, probably taken from a street surveillance camera, but there was no doubt. It was a girl in a tan sweater and a navy blue skirt. With messy blond hair put up in buns on the sides of her head. She was peaking out of an alleyway that he recognized to be about a block from the school.

Why haven't I heard about this?

He thought. But then again, if he was informed every time there was a news article about the League, his inbox would overflow. Still, he listened to what the the news caster was saying.

"This photo, captured by a street cam about half a mile away from UA High School, shows a frightening scene. This girl depicted in the alley to the right seems ordinary at first, but she is actually a known member of the League of Villains that attacked the USJ and the UA training camp, though she was only present for the latter. She supposedly joined the League under influence of Stain, the Hero Killer, who as you know, caused a widespread increase in the amount of villains taking action against hero's, but was defeated by now number 1 hero, Endeavor. What this League member, known as Toga, was doing there last night, we may never find out. Hero's have been contacted, but-"

All Might shut off the TV. He felt like something had clicked in his brain.

The League. Last night. Toga Himiko. Midoriya. He didn't know why, but all of them were connected somehow. All he knew was that he had to get back to UA. And fast.

Sorry that was a really short chapter. I don't have much else to say.
