Chapter 10

Bakugo was pissed out of his mind. He was laying on his bed, brooding. That Damn Nerd was making this whole day just one big annoyance. First he had the nerve to punch him, then he just runs off! Practically not saying a word! He couldn't lie, though, it had irked him to see him coughing up blood in the hallway, but it's not like he cared about him! Who wanted to see someone coughing up blood? Not him, that was for sure.

But the part he was really thinking about was what had happened a few hours before. Deku had actually called him by his first name. No one did that, well, except his mom. He'd usually just do that annoying thing where he calls him Kacchan. A memory suddenly flashed into his mind of him sitting in a river and Deku reaching his hand out to him saying "Are you okay Kacchan?"

He grumbled. He didn't need memories like that right now.

He didn't know what all of it was about, but he knew something was up, and he wanted to know what. Not because he wanted to figure out what was wrong with him, he just preferred annoying Deku over weird Deku.

Suddenly, a flurry of footsteps came by his door. It sounded like the whole class was walking together. He heard voices. They were discussing something as they walked.

"Well it just doesn't make sense." He heard that red haired idiot say. "How can something like that change his behavior so much? There had to be something else. Midoriya wouldn't change without something big happening."

Great, they were talking about damn Deku.

"Ribbit. Well, if he met someone, we can't interfere, just like Todoroki said." He heard frog face say.

He huffed, getting up from his bed and stomping to the door. He flung it open. "Can you stop talking about that damn nerd in front of my room!" He screamed. "Jeez! What is wrong with you people! Can't you just let it go and let him handle his own damn business!?"

Everybody looked like they were about to keep walking in silence, but surprisingly, rocket boy got in his face for the second time that day.

"It's because we're his friends and we actually care about him!" He yelled. "So if you want nothing to do with him then just stay away, but we're trying to help him get through whatever he's going through! If you actually give a damn, you would have tried to help him while he was coughing up blood in the hallway! Or not scared him awake with sparks! You deserved that punch!"

And with that, he walked off, either purposefully or accidentally setting off his engines slightly.

He was kind of shocked at first, but then came to his senses. He raised his arms and small explosions came from them, causing the other shocked students to move back. He was about to lose it when he felt the explosions stop. He looked down in anger and confusion. What the hell is going on?! He thought, then he saw the last person he wanted to see at that moment come down the hall. Eraser Head was doing his rounds of the dorms, checking up on students. His glowing eyes said that he'd erased Bakugos quirk.

"What's going on?" He said angrily. "I heard yelling."

"Why don't you ask engine boy." Bakugo muttered bitterly, stomping back into his room and slamming the door. He flung himself onto his bed, fuming. He could hear Aizawa asking his classmates what had happened, and after a while he felt his quirk come back and everyone walk off. He was surprised Aizawa had come through the door and given him detention, but he instantly shook it off. He was coming up with a plan. A plan to give Damn Deku a piece of his mind. His anger quickly turned to satisfaction as he formed the plan in his head. All he had to do was wait.

About two hours later, it was about nine o clock. Most people had gone to bed early, having nothing to do, but there were some stragglers in the common area. It didn't matter. Everyone was going to hear this anyways. He still wanted to be quiet though, so he didn't get stopped on the way to that damn nerds room. So he tiptoed through the halls, and stopped in front of his door. The people on either side of the room were still out in the common room. Perfect.
