Todoroki was already at his desk by the time his friend group came into class. Well, two of them did, and then the third came skipping in a while after. His green haired friend looked odd. His hair was messy and he hadn't done his tie correctly. He had a sort of excited look on his face and his cheeks were tinged with pink, like they usually were when he was around Uraraka. He glanced at the other two, Iida and Uraraka, who were whispering about something and glancing at Midoriya. Curious, he got up and walked over to them. They looked up at him as he approached. "Midoriya looks weird." He said in his normal monotone voice he learned to use with his father. He wasn't just curious though. Midoriya had gotten him out of a bad place, and made him realize that, well, having friends didn't weigh him down, they helped him. Back in the conversation Uraraka and Iida nodded. "He's been like this all morning." He told him a story involving Bakugo and Midoriya yelling and Midoriya being unlike himself. Big surprise. He couldn't stand Bakugo yelling at Midoriya. Yet Midoriya still looked up to him, but he didn't have the slightest idea why. When Iida was finished he asked "Do you think we should talk to him?"

"I think we should." He said. He'd never really seen his friend act like this before. Just as he was looking at him, he went over and sat at the wrong desk. Mineta came to inform him that there hadn't been a seating change and reminded him he still sat behind Bakugo, and all he did was give him an expressionless, blank stare. Mineta laughed nervously and sat down, trying not to meet Midoriyas eyes. It seemed other people were noticing the sudden change in personality, because they glanced at him. Some Midoriya smiled at and the blush on his face brightened, others he glared at coldly. Todoroki could see that something was up, but had no idea what. He was used to the light hearted happy Midoriya, but now he seemed to have so many mixed emotions it was hard to tell exactly what he was thinking.

Finally Iida got up to calm the class down because Aizawa would be there. Everyone sat down quietly. Except for Midoriya. He was too busy leaning over his desk and messing with Bakugos hair with a look of happy mischief in his eyes, making it go every which way without him knowing. Todoroki knew that was a very bad idea, but as he was about to intervene, Midoriya seemed to come to his senses and think better of it. Todoroki leaned back in his cold chair, thinking. Had something happened? Was he just dazed from a lack of sleep? Memory loss? All of those seemed pretty unlikely. Midoriya wouldn't let things effect his class life easily. He knew from experience that he always put others over himself, and hates making people worry or feel like a burden.

A soft thumping sound shifted him from his thoughts. Midoriya was now hitting his head on his desk in what looked like agitation. Classmates started whispering and Uraraka shot him a nervous glance. He was genuinely getting worried too. But everything was interrupted by Aizawa walking in.

Sorry for the short chapter!  I kind of wrote this all at once so I might post another 2 chapters tomorrow!
