It was dark. Really dark. Like can't see your nose or anything dark. This made it all the more painful for a spotlight to be shined right in Midoriyas face the next second. He snapped his eyes shut. Where am I? What just happened? Why does my whole body hurt? He asked these questions silently, trying to recall what had happened that day. He felt like he'd just woken up from a long nap. Everything was dizzy, and he was starting to comprehend things one at a time, like cold air blowing on him, or a buzzing in his ears. This definitely wasn't normal. Something bad had happened.
Suddenly a girls voice rang through the silence. "Aw! Look at how cute he is when he's all confused!"
He recognized that voice. It was that girl Toga.
"W-where am I? Why are you here?" He stammered, his throat feeling hoarse.
"I think you hit him too hard Dabi." He recognized the second raspy, hollow voice as well. It was Shigiraki, leader of the League of Villains. "It doesn't look like he remembers how he got here."
"Well he was freaking out and thrashing all over the place when he got pulled through and he was going to die or something. I mean, look at those wounds. We wouldn't be able to have any fun with him if he died right there." Said a third voice he didn't recognize.
"Excuse me, we? I'm keeping him all for myself. Isn't that right Deku-Kun?" Toga said, and he felt a hand grab his face and run a finger down his cheek. He tried to move away, but realized he was tied to something. Probably a chair.
Harsh memories were starting to come back, images flashing in his brain like slideshow. Others seeped in more slowly. Toga in his room, a knife with his blood on it, a deep purple warp dragging him away from his friends.
"So that's what happened." He muttered, the whole day coming back to him.
"Oh wow!" Shigiraki said in mock surprise. "He remembers! Well, it looks like we won't have to beat his memory into him."
Izuku slowly opened his eyes, trying to ignore the burning light that was being shined into them. They were in an unfamiliar room in what looked like a warehouse. There were large shelves lining the walls in rows with boxes of scrap metal stacked onto them. Thin blue ceiling lights were the only illumination other than the industrial flashlight that was in front of him. Next to him was Toga Himiko, looking just as he remembered her, and a few feet away was Shigiraki with his blue hair and grey hand covering his face, sitting in a folding chair backwards like it was some sort of interrogation. Midoriya was tied to an identical one with his back to a wall. The rough rope hurt his cuts and bruises, but thanks to Seros tape it wasn't as bad as it would have been.
"What are you going to do with me? My friends and the pro hero's will be here in no time."
"Maybe. But this time they don't have a tracker. They have no way to find you. You yourself don't even know where you are. And you're not escaping here in that state." Shigiraki said. He laughed in his strange slow way.
"And if you try anything, I'll have to kill you, and that'd make Toga angry. She wants to kill you herself." Said the third voice from somewhere out of his field of vision. "We have no use for you right now. There's no reason we should keep you here or even keep you alive. You're not even supposed to be here. But Toga had to go along with that stupid plan that we knew would get her caught."
A shiver ran down his spine. The first thoughts and fears that flitted through his brain were all bad. What if I die here? One for All won't have a new successor, and mom would be devastated. A thought made him shiver even more. Oh god my mom!
He looked up at his captors, deciding right there that he had to escape this place and see his mom and his friends again, no matter what they put him through.
"I won't give up." He said, trying to give a confident smile. "I'll get out of here. Just you wait."
Shigiraki laughed again. "Good luck with that. You'll probably die before you can even come up with a plan. I know you're really good at making them. But it depends on Togas mood. I don't care, I just want you dead."
"C'mon Izuku-Kun!" Toga giggled, starting to drag his chair across the room with surprising ease. "Let's go have some fun!"
Hey guys. I know I say this a lot but sorry for the short chapter. The next chapter will also be in that 2 part format that continues this chapter. So my warning from the last chapter only really applies to the next chapter. Sorry about that.
