"Deku-Kun!" Uraraka yelled in her sleep, shooting bolt upright in her bed. She'd been having a dream. She dreamt that they were back in the dorms, with her friend sprawled out in front of her on his bed. It made her sick to see it again, even if it was just a dream. She sighed. "Just a dream." She muttered. She looked around, and was confused for a second to be in her bedroom, but then remembered that they weren't allowed back in the dorms because of what had happened on Monday. It was Wednesday now, and they still had no leads. All Might and the rest of the teachers kept saying that they would find him, but she could tell they were getting nervous. At the press conference the day before, they'd basically said the same thing that they had at the one about Bakugo. That they were doing all they could, and that they take full responsibility for everything that had happened. There was a bigger uproar, this being the second kidnapping at UA, and many people were threatening to pull there kids out. Nobody in class 1-A luckily, but there were rumors that a third of class 1-B were being pulled. She didn't really believe it, though. But maybe she was just trying to convince herself that this whole event wouldn't have as much of a widespread effect than she knew it would. Bakugos kidnapping had done enough damage, and he'd been taken at the training camp. But Deku was taken right on school grounds. She didn't want to think about it.
She reached over and checked her phone. The class had started a group chat to share information and just to talk about what happened. Iida and her had told everyone what they'd seen, and everything they knew. They'd discussed the press conference, but it'd basically told them everything they'd already known. It was depressing, but she was trying to keep together. She was worried out of her mind, but she kept looking back on all of the happy memories she had with Deku, and it filled her with determination that he'd be found, or that he'd to find a way to escape. He would figure something out. She knew that he wasn't the type to give up, but then she thought about what could be happening to him, and it made her shudder. Confidence and determination could only get someone so far. There were a few new messages, one from Kirishima and one from Aoyama, just saying,
Kirishima: Morning everyone.
And,
Aoyama: Bonjour Kirishima!
Nobody else had responded. She couldn't blame them. It was only six and there was no school that day, or any day in the near future. She didn't like just sitting around with her thoughts, so she got up and started getting dressed. She typed into the group chat.
Uraraka: You guys wanna meet up and have breakfast maybe in an hour to just talk?
She wanted to have somebody in front of her. It didn't feel the same just texting. She sat down and watched some TV, and within a few minutes she got a bunch of notifications.
Iida: I would love to Uraraka.
Kaminari: The breakfast place on the corner?
Todoroki: I'll be there I guess.
Kirishima: I'm definitely coming. Bakugo you should come too.
Bakugo: Screw off
Mineta: Im there if girls are there.
Jirou: Ew go away Mineta
Iida: Everyone is invited!
The rest of the messages were basically everybody agreeing to go. She smiled a little bit. It'd be nice to see everyone together. It had only been two days, but Uraraka had gotten so used to them all being together that it was weird not having them there.
Not everyone will be there. She thought in the back of her head.
"Shut up." She said out loud. "When Deku comes back we'll all have breakfast together again." She sighed again. "But how long will that take?" The wait for him to come back was almost worse than the reality of him being taken. She shook her head. "We'll find him, and everything will go back to normal."
