Lorrie Brooks-Reeves will star as Randy Garrity's step-mom Adrienne in the sequel called "Joyful Noise 2" to be in theaters on June 5. Also starring Dave Casper as Randy's father Lane, little Junie Dunn and Denver Overstreet as twins Addie and Lane Jr. Jeremy Jordan reprises the role as Randy after the birth of his first child Clara.
In this trailer clip, Lane told Randy to stay away from black ladies, and he did broke up with her. Jeanette Cooke plays Adrienne's grandma, who still preaches a lot. Lane lost his first wife, which was G.G.'s daughter named Sharon, who died of cancer, and daughter Lilly, Randy's sister who died of the bike accident in her freshman year of high school.
