Marla announced that the Duets EP album will be released on Dec. 4. It features Ponder, Sykes & Wright, George Strait, Reba McEntire, Mark Chesnutt, Ronnie Milsap and Terry McBride.
Here's the scoop:
#1 Marla and Terry decided to be more part of it as well. Recorded in 2019.
#2 Written by Billy Dean, Reba and Marla had a chance to record that song, who previously sang by Mark Wills, Chad Brock, Oak Ridge Boys, Travis Tritt and Kenny Rogers. Recorded in 2018.
#3 George had never record that song, but it went to Keith Whitley. Recorded in 2018.
#4 Marla and Mark had finally made it through the recording studio. Recorded in 2018.
#5 David Ponder, Michael Sykes, and Woody Wright had their first singing session in 1979 and got a chance to record with Marla with a Commodores song. Recorded in 2020.
#6 Marla was slated to record that song in 1978, but declined. Recorded in 2018.
