Marla was very sad about her two step-grandchildren and Cliff was also sad about his mother-in-law. Hudson, Everly and Miriam will be missed. On Feb. 5, as Kirk Douglas died at age 103, Marla and Cliff prayed with Karen and Kyle at the kitchen table. Later that night, Marla was at Roger Staubach's house celebrating his birthday. The next day, Marla was watching the Lytles on YouTube in which several survivors of the 1969 Chiefs players in attendance. Jessica was wearing a Willie Lanier jersey, Jordan was wearing a Johnny Robinson jersey, Elway was wearing a Len Dawson jersey (in which Elway shared a birthday with Len on June 20), Heather was wearing a Bobby Bell jersey, Trippi was wearing a E.J. Holub jersey, Eric was wearing a Buck Buchanan jersey, and Hailey was wearing a Jan Stenerud jersey.
